since it is a "winged" warrior competition, held at the airport, I think the winners(american and import) should be parked nose to nose in front of a WWII fighter or something, with the drivers and their trophies.

Also, I say the winners of both competitions(overall winners) should return the next year to defend their titles. we have both big trophies circulating thru the years, and we put the winners car and name on the trophy. ala borgwarner trophy!

Thanks camaro379. I am slow/computer illerate can you find other places to post this. Porsche/subaru/ferrari etc. I am getting verbal comfirmations from cobra/corvette/grand national owners etc... I think this is going to be big. when teamaccolade gets a flyer done I will go personally to the local speed shops and get them to spread the word. Mark at MSL hopefully will bring his skyline. there is actually no registration, so we will have to guesstimate how many people are comming. Dont forget this is a car show also, and there will be people there with show cars also. I think it will be a fun day for THE WHOLE FAMILY! I dont know if I posted it earlier but BOTH the car show and the speed challenge will be at the airport. I am getting 40 ft banners(2) to put on the fence of the airport next week to forwarn of the battle on the "track". P.S. I know someone who is bringing a turbocharged Hybausa(sp) that has 500+ Hp. I saw it today, totally wicked.

 

of all the 850 people who viewed this post, and a guesstimate of 10% who saw the post may show up, thats 85+ cars. I can handle it, you can just show up at the Airport by 9:00 am on May 7th, i will have all people show up at that time, even the people who are just bringing a ride for the show. I will have the total intinerary up by Friday at 9:00 PM April 1st. Can anyone list the web sites for mustang/camaro/porsche/bmw etc clubs?
