as soon as those flyers are done i'll go around to all of the car places like Modern Speed Labs and such to see if they can hand out flyers and maybe show up with one of their cars.

 

I've already got mark at MSL, he's great at spreading the word, I'm sure he will bring his skyline also, and some decked out supras etc....I'll have the flyers beg. next week!!!!!!!!!!

 

Tha's cool, i got some really cool people that said they would come as soon as they get flyers.

Some of them include sti's,mustangs,tahoe with air suspension/26" and many tv's,etc.

Also have u been to 360 degrees yet? They had a nice slammed f-150 w/ air rid and 18" sub in it at carquest world of wheels.

random thoughts. As far as the time involved, I am guessing 20-30 cars per side(Import and Domestic) to do the speed challenge. I'm sure we can have enough people to do more than 1 event at a time, but want to keep the "fun factor" involved. So pony up the cars who are going to run it. get some verbal commitments. I am sure the gates will be full at 9:00AM on show/race day, and some cars will have to be turned down from compeeting, as the field will be full!
My Evo is entered, but I have assigned a driver(hooligan) to run it for me, as I will have to do the timing/scoring/etc!!!!!!!!!!any other verbal commitments?

 

I'd like to, but not sure I'll make it out by 9am. Depends on how late I work on the day before, which decides how early I can get to bed, then how early I can get up and start driving there. Also considering driving out Friday night and finding a place to crash. That'd make the morning a bit easier. We'll see.

 

Otter, Im not insinuating if your not there by 9:00 am, your excluded, the racing probably wont start till later (around 11-12:00), dont worry you'll be fine!

I got you down DrBump! my list got messed up, i'll re-post.
I dont think a highH.P. car is going to take this, as it has to handle well also. This is shaping up like our own "little" Sport Compact Car "Ultimate street Warrior" shoot-out. I did get comfirmation there is an ameture film crew who will be on hand to film/photograph the event.........we'll have nice memories.

 

Decided on how you want to break up the classes yet?

 

yes there will be a Lancer non-turbo class. other classes might fall into street tires/streetdriven and an unlimited class.
