kevin, do u have an updated list of the cars comin so far, b/c the guys on a forum think that there will be too many evos. "The main guy" on there says that, and i am trying to figure out a way to convince him on the huge amount of other cars that will be there.

Any ideas?

TOO many evos, wow that sounds like a problem. J/J there is a list a couple of pages back that says there is only eight evos that are signed up to compete and the rest are all sorts of different cars

Yeah i know, i already posted that list. These guys drive some real well powered GTI's/ and a few R32s. I guess all those evos are too much to handle for them. I was just hopin more cars were added to the list really recently just to make it seem like there aren't as many evos. My manager at work is a part of that forum and is trying to change their minds, but i thought a bigger list would change their minds.

Hey camaro, tell your buddies with the R32's and GTI's that ALL the evos will be required to run with ALL lugnuts only finger tight, and drive with their HOODS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is a TURBO class and a NON-TURBO class for the imports, also an unlimited class (the regular SCCA racers with slicks) they can be competetive. and we will have alot of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell them to put the mods down via pm and I will add to the list!!!!!!! there are many people on other sites who will come ie porsche/bmw/vette etc that they dont know were talking now, they will just show up! All evos listed may not run by then anyway, there clutch will burn-up by then etc...

This is exactly what he said:

Could be a cool show, but prolly not our crowd. Been to a couple of these and its basically like IRP with a few bigger guns and more large exhaust civics.

I will prolly wait for ITB to get my fill of EVOs.

I am also working on my buddies with Civic SI's, Pontiac GTO's and a Jetta's too. My dad may bring his Porsche too. I will keep you posted as to what's going on.

Hey Camaro, thanks for trying. there is a class for these pompus A-wipes, and they still dont want to put the hammer down? he's been to a "couple" of these? I've never heard of one where you can compete/eat/listen to music and see a car=show for next to nothing! Its either his dads car, "Barney on Ice" is the same day, and he doesnt want to miss it, or he has his new "back Street Boys/back door boys" CD and doesnt want to chance scratching it on a bumpy course. Tell VW crybaby I have a Schwinn with a pixie wheel and a front mount flower basket, and I'll run him in the 1/4 mile for 100.00! What a pu$$

I just discovered that there's a Michigan Sport Compact forum, so I posted up on there about this. Looks like they're having some kind of BBQ on the same day, but it's worth a shot, and this will be more exciting.

I can always show up with my winter tires/winter XEDE map if that will make them feel better.
