sorry I haven't posted up, but i'm IN like INdiana...hehe.

I'm awaiting a few more mods and I'm gonna showcase my ride in my first car show! I can't wait . So May 7th is the definite date? I'm callin off from work as we speak!

 

May 7th is the date, there will be a speed-shop or two there with some gear if you so want to buy some stuff...gates open at 9:00AM racing starts around 11:00?

 

More Random thoughts:
as I am still unsure of exactly how many people will attend the event, the car-show we can have unlimited amount of people, as there is a lot of grass to park on! the people attending the competition, we will have to have the "right" amount of cars, not too many, as I want this to be a fun/memorable event and not one giant f-sandwitch! I am thinking of breaking the classes into street class/ street turbo and unlimited(slicks/nitrous, etc...) that way if the Audi/Porsche/viper clubs attend, they wont make the people in the other classes look like idiots. again, this is a FUN event, not a stepping stone to F1. since this is a timed event, i'm thinking of lining up 1 import,1domestic to start in a "drag-race" and at the end of the strait, one car turns right, the other left completing the same track, but mirror images. I think it s called solo in the SCCA. I am still negotiating having them sanction the event. will keep you posted. I might take out the slalom event, as to not have any flipped cars/injuries. In its place I can do 2 events in place of 1. we can do the 0-100-0MPH, and time the 0-100MPH as 1 event and the braking during the SAME run to get the 0-100-0MPH. Hope this is not confusing. I will have 20-30 people running this event, as to make it run smoothly. There is a KOA campground 1 mile away also for you campers! I think its called KOA of Greenfield. Any other input? There is a group who wants to do some drifting also, but I told them if theres time we can discuss it. What I have laid out is done FIRST, we have a score to settle! any other evos gunning down here? pm me with more specs/cars etc...

DrBump, your car is the 2nd or 3rd EVO posted on the starting grid. you are reliable, and I knew you were comming. Is your brother competing? if so I will add him to the list! Yes this will be a BLAST! the show last year was fun, as this show this year will have alot of nice cars to look at and a lot of race-gas/ burning rubber to fill the air! What more could you ask for?...........don't think of anything else, this is enough for one day!

I will personally have a 55 gal. Drum of 109 UN-leaded (new fuel from VP.), maybe some 110 LEADed from the local dragstrip as well.
