No Bro, this is Blue and comming from east Ohio, and yes virginia, this will be huge,(showing My age again), and NO, you wont embarass yourself, there are a collection of people like you and me, who love cars, they will be impressed with what your car can do, as you will with theirs. I have no chance of winning this event, nor did I do this to win it, I just want to see all the nice cars and nice people, and the bottom line is to give a little "sunshine" to some little kids who have none! this is going to be, again, a FUN event, if there are "chest-Puffers" or flat out A-Holes, they will be shown the door! no time or place for these people. And by the way, if one of you can relate to the statment above, please dont show-up, you will not be welcome!!!!!!!

If you have a friend or neighbor with the same sized Mullet, ask to borrow it for the day, Dont spend alot of money on a Helmet, I am sure we can share, if you want to! Let me know as we get closer if you cant find a "loaner".

I'm going to keep an eye out for a used one on eBay and whatnot. It'd be useful to have one if I ever wanted to pick up AutoX. Cheapest new ones (SA2000 rated by Snell) are around $130.

Since the slalom is out( due to potential rollovers), how many events can we get out of the 0-100-0? out of the one run,we can get 3 events out of 1 run:

1. 0-100 MPH
2. 0-100-0 MPH
3. 0-100-0 MPH total distance to do the task

is this event limited to the Unlimited classes? what is the 1/4 mile times (MPH) of the other cars? any report of the ie 80 mph-0, of other cars? I need measurements of runway. I guess at 1/4 mile the speed is 90mph? then extra 1/8 mile to get to 100 mph, then how many feet to get to 0 mph? I dont want to run out of runway!! what is your input?? feed=back please!

Mamacita! thats pretty salty, but if you plan on using it after your prom date, its worth it! What price can you put on your brain? Once you do this event, you will have so much fun, you will want to do it on a more regular basis. You will be back next year anyway, and the year after that etc..."borrow one for the first time" to see how you like it! you can even use mine. NO BIKE HELMETS unless you plan on riding a bike, and if you look, there is NOT a bike class. If you have certifiable more water around the brain, via MRI/CT scan, which allows for more cushion of the contents of your skull, a thinner helmet could be allowed (JK).

Ralliart will do the 1/4 at around 90-95mph (upper 14's to low 15's depending on driver). Figure I could hit 100 without leaving 4th, so another 2 seconds (300 ft)? Then allow at least 200' (60-0 stopping distances are around 150'?)for stopping distance, so 300' to allow for a safety margin. 1/2 mile should be long enough with extra space for safety (some people will need that if they have a bit of brake fading due to high brake heat on a stop like that)

This is all coming out of my ***, but it's my best guess.
