I know the Import list is growing, but this info is on other sites, ie domestic car sites, but they appear not to PM me, they will just show up! I have told many people about this Import/Domestic and they said they will show up. the people we will be donating ALL this money to is the Riley Cheer Guild at the Local Childrens Hospital, I have donated with them before, they will use the money to buy toys, stuffed animals etc, to cuddle and or play with while they recover in the hospital! Just think how many children we can help, and make their stay as pleasent as possible!

Glad to see that I wasn't the only one who was confused. Thanks for the explanations.

Lets not forget the fact we will have alot of cars/trucks/bikes there for the car-show. keep talking that up, there will be vendors there if you want to buy some equipment or "go-faster" parts if you will. I just ordered 30 flourescent T-shirts with the print"Winger" event staff on the back, for tose who have volunteered to help(thanks again), I ordered 21 Trophies, for the car-show AND the speed challenge event, the overall winner gets a 3ft trophy! I am going Monday to talk to the airport about getting the speed challenge "classes" of cars in a photo in front of a P51 mustang, or some old "warbird".
for nice keepsake photos, the Import winner and the Domestic winner will part nose to nose in front of the plane with the drivers and trophies next to the cars, and maybe next-year I can use this photo as advertisement for the following years event. Both Import/Domestic winners, as well as the overall winner MUST return the following year to defend the title. The same trophy will be handed down year to year, with the plaque reading: WWSCC(Winged Warrior Speed Challenge Champion) year/make of car/ Drivers name/ overall time for the events.)I might also have the cones up for the cycles, SLOWEST thru cones wins!!!!!!! Will see

Update:
I guess I am underestimating the crowd, more people are saying expect 500+ in attendence, so instead of catering Dicks Bodascious BBQ, I am doing what I did for last years car-show. I will have plenty of hot-dogs, sodas, chips and cookies to feed all! I'd rather have "enough" food, than to run out. Who is actually there for the food anyway? If we get to the point were running low on food, I will ask everyone to chew slower, belch up a chunk of hotdog and chew it again, or just send my "gopher" to get more dogs or burgers! the last idea sounds best!

Also: BRING A HELMET!!!!!! make it full faced if you have an airbag in the car (a "REAL" airbag, not your significant other) Borrow one from the neighbor, or we might have some to share!
The event is only 3 weeks away!!!!! I am ordering all the food/drinks/port-a-pots on monday, and meeting with the documentary "film-crew" on the 30th, I am getting the equipment from some lovely people out of Dayton ohio, they are going to Grissom on Sunday the 8th, they will bring their truck to us and set-up and help run the event( they are like the SCCA) they are lending us new cones/pylons/timing equipment/ timing scoreboards etc, make sure you all give them a "thumbs-up" and thank-yous to them! They came thru on short notice for us. I will Have ca 45 gallons of 109 unleaded fuel from VP on hand if you need some, let me know before it is gone. the cost of it, is what MY cost was. pm me if interested. the fuel is new from VP (not village pantry) its for turbo cars/4 bangers.Since my carwas dynoed on 110 LEADED, I have to run the 110!

Just got word of an R34 Skyline and other exotics are going to throw their hat in the ring, even a LOUTS eliese, sweeet. Any word out there on the Team USA? I know of 4 600+ hp cobras, Z06 vettes which will be there, but I dont know how modified they are, so I didn't add them. Will someone get to the Viper-club and tell them to get on the stick and BRING-IT? I'm sure team USA doesnt want us to walk away with the trophies do they? Lets put the rubber down on the tarmac and giterdun.

P.S. about the food, no matter what I provide, it will taste like rubber and race-gas anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you mean only full-faced if you DON'T have an airbag. Full face helmets + airbags = broken face.

Now I just gotta find a cheap helmet.

You may be right, I will check into that! No paper-Machae helmets allowed, I am sure we can scrounge up helmets, but bring one anyway.

Is the Lotus Elise white? I just followed one on my way home Friday and he got off on the 96th St. exit. This sounds like it is going to be huge......hope I don't embarrass myself!
