Hey Bobby,

I can't remember if you installed those Hella Horns or not? I was informed by Summit Racing that I apparently have credit to their store that if I don't use it by Sunday it will disappear. They don't sell Mobil 1 or AMSoil, so I was thinking about picking these up and wondered the install difficulty.

Is it a one-size-fits-all type of thing?

Do it, Do it!

It is a one size fits all. They are pretty much plug and play. I put mine where the factory horns were located. IMO, they are well worth it. Other drivers can actually hear them. They saved me and my rig from an accident the first day I had them.

Any other questions, lemme know!

Yup the front bumper has to come off. I have 10 or 12 of those plastic screws (brand new) somewhere if you want them. A Beatrush underpanel circumvents the whole plastic screw deal.

Yes I remember that day. I just want to make my evo run upper 11's and probably stop there. Want to get on it when spring comes. I want to get LICP and cams installed and then get it to Buscher for the tune.

I know HP is evil, so it might not stop at 11's, but at least it's a goal for now.

NEW YEAR"S RESOLUTION: stop eating and drinking, no heat in the house and no water - just to get evo running 11's. he he

If I do that, I would probably die sooner because my girlfriend would chop my ***** off.

You don't have any pictures of yours, do you? I don't know where the stock horns are on the Evo. I guess I'll just have to get under the car and have my g/f hit the horn... that ought to do it

But seriously, if it's anything like my Eclipse, the horn is just under the bumper on the left side. But, I thought I remember seeing yours just in front of the radiator in the gap on either side of the on the front bumper.

Get what I'm trying to say?

^^ Si, creo que si.

There are two factory horns. One is behind the bumper on the driver's side. The other is still on the driver's side but near the center of the car by the radiator like you mentioned in the above post.

I mounted one Hella in each of the old factory locations. You saw he one near the center of the car on the driver's side on my car. You have to look for the other one to see it.

I don't think I have any current pics.

Hope that helps.

Have you changed the oil? If there's glitter looking stuff in it then you know it's the bearings. Let me know if you need a hand.

I don't think it's possible to have any worse luck with a vehicle. Hope it's not too bad.

Good luck.
