...a little OT but does anyone want a used set of advans? Should be off the car in about a week....50% tread...2 tires have more wear on about a 1.5 inch strip on the outside but are still useable. 2 of the tires are evenly worn. $100 for all 4 if anyone here is interested.

What do you guys think about MR's Bilsteins? I was thinking of picking up a set, since I don't have the money for coilover right now. I was also wondering if someone might have them in a good condition locally?

 

How much for the bilstiens - you can get a decent set of coil overs for under 1,000$ - say tein basics or the megan racing ones.

 

Id grab these up if i wasnt currently rebuilding my motor

I saw that A-hole cop at a Christmas party for the station. I knew I'd see him again but didn't know when. It was pretty funny.

When we first got there, I saw his wife who works at the station. She's very nice and said I should come over and say hi. I said that I wasn't so sure about that. Later, He interrupted a conversation I was having and held out his hand for me to shake.

After I put my hands in my pockets and about a minute pause , I took my hands out of my pockets and shook his hand. Conversation went like this...

A-hole cop: "Hey, my wife (that works at the station)said you were afraid to talk to me."

Me: "Afraid?, Yeah afraid I'd be an a$shole. Happy Holidays." (and walked away to my original conversation wih him still talking)

Sometimes a little revenge is so sweet!

 

Nice move...good story...just hope he doesn't find you this spring while we're jetting out to Norwalk or something!

Speaking of which, let's set something up next week, it's been over a month...or more.
