I guess it all depends on what you use the car for. Bigger turbo can obviously put down impressive dyno numbers and awesome quarter mile times. But it may cause drivability issues for the street and controllability on the road course.
In the next few years, if you know you'll visit Norwalk much more often than Nelson, get the bigger turbo. Otherwise, I'm sure a GT30 is plenty good for your needs.

A 2.3 w/ a 35r is a freaking blast on the street. Anything smaller just doesn't have a big enough sack to hang with that motor and a healthy set of cams.
