I dunno, Alex, Chinese people believe that a beautiful gir should have big eyes and a small mouth. The new Lancer (Prototype X) has exactly the opposite.

Alright, signed up today for 2 days of fun....21st and 22nd at NASA...

Whoever done that before they were asking for reference number (I put 10)...Is that the car number? And basicly it said that my membership card is supposed to arrive in 2 weeks, but what's going on next? Just show up there with your card, your car checked out and that's it?

Jesse, I need you here

Reference number? In the reg form there's a spot for 3 car numbers, is that what you meant? Anyway for HPDE pretty much any number will do. If you don't have any nifty vinyl just get some painter's tape.

As long as you're signed up you just need to bring the HPDE tech form. Stop by the registration desk and check that they have you and pick up a schedule. You don't have to have your car checked out by a garage unless you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. When you go out for the first time they'll do a quick check on the grid, take your tech form, and sticker your windshield.

They're opening the gates Thursday evening, so I'm guessing the paddock will be full of trailers. If you want a hard spot get there early Friday.

As mentioned, if you're already signed up you don't need to take your card, so no worries if you don't get it in time. All you have to do now is show up. There is a drivers' meeting at some point pretty early (which is on the schedule); make sure you get to it.

I just renewed my registration. Haven't signed up for any days yet, though... going to get my car soon and we'll play it by ear.

Well, I signed up for Sat. and Sun., I guess there is no point for me coming out on Fri. And will be driving my car, so no trailers.

Now the schedule I will have to pick up once I arrive, or I can print it off the internet? And how early do I have to arrive on Sat.?

Bobby you coming sat. too? And hopefully talon will too. Maybe we all can go together? This way n00b won't get lost?

P.S Jesse thanks for all the help via the phone today. Matt as Slick's Motorsports has got some Motul 600 in the shop, so I'll get it from him. I've got Willowood 570 stuff I will just return to Summit....

Unless someone wants that brake fluid?

Any of you guys have a stock evo ix wastegate that I can buy off of you? I am getting tuned by Switzer on Wednesday and could pick it up within a reasonable distance. Thanks a lot.

FYI, Motorcycle shops locally are also a good source for high performance fluids.

Wilwood is great stuff. It's not much more than ATE and comes in 12oz bottles, which is about the perfect size. Brake fluid is like a fine wine, once you open the bottle you use it all. In HPDE1 you could get along fine with Ford Heavy Duty (seriously, it's good stuff, but more hygroscopic than most). You won't see enough clear track to work your brakes that hard.
