***Official Ohio Chat Thread***
i've been looking around the forums for a reputable tuner in the ohio area and only came across one: slowmotion motorsports in columbus. they claim to specialize in all cars but mainly hondas and acuras. im thinking of taking my car there for a tune once i get enough parts. or should i make the drive the chicago for an AMS reflash and tune?
Hmmm, how hard did you look?
There is the ever-so-popular Buschur Racing in Wakeman, OH (which is Northern-Central) or a little closer to you is Pure Tuning in Toledo.
PT knows their ****. Call them up and ask for Keith (who is the 4g63 guru) or Aaron. I've taken my 2g DSM to them many-a-times. They've also got an AWD Mustang dyno for tuning.

On another note. I got my car tuned up pretty nice tonite finally. I know a few of you on here have saw him post in this thread under the name DeiPro which his business is DeiPro Tuning. I met him a month of 2 ago and i was told by one of his customers to have him check out my car as far as tuning needs. Origionally my car was done by AL from Dynoflash last year rite before NOPI at Norwalk. I made 282 whp on Buschurs dyno. He did a decent job and it made a difference. Well i had Kyle take a look at the flash he put on my car and noticed some interesting discoveries with wat he touched. And we did a head compaire to his flash and Kyles somewat flash if you want to call it that and the differences were just amazing in a good way. Ill say this i dont know jack **** about tuning but from learing from what Kyle is telling me it makes sense now lol.
But after an hour and a half of out driving it around and doing some pulls we finally got it perfect. Before Kyles tune we could just tell from a 3rd gear pull from 3K that the car seemed to be bogging (due to it being a tad bit rich). But once we cleared it up wow the car isnt even close to bein the same as it was. It acutally sorta scared me when i did a 1st through 4th on the highway. And to think i have been tryin to sell my car cause it didnt seem very quick for what it was. Well after tonite i totally changed my mind. All is done is intake, ported manifold, downpipe, catless, 3in turbo back, act clutch, boost controller, bov, and a lower intercooler pipe.
But if you guys are needing something like that done. Defs check him out. He knows his **** and becoming very respectful around this area. He can chime in on this too.

Thanks for the Kind words Chris. Your car is running really good, and I was impressed with the extra power we got out of it. I am always ready to help you guys out. Ill see you all at the shootout.
Leakypipe86, my services to you are available. Read a few reviews from other members and ask around. It dosent matter wether you already have been tuned, or not at all. Let me know.
I recently calibrated a IX Buschur Stage 2 package car with a TBE, intake, and Upper IC pipe and it went 11.7's @117 on pump 94. It runs really well... too bad he needs a clutch now!

leakypipe, you wanting a drag car, roadrace car, auto-x car, or just a stupid fast street car? I'm local to you and can point you in the right direction based on your answer. We have a SW ohio thread in this forum, btw.
New numbers are here!!!!!!
351 whp/336 lbtq
9 turbo, same boost (spikes to 1.6, holds 1.5 bar)
Tune was for road racing, not drag. I could get a lot more for drag racing, but the car feel strong as **** right now and I would like keep it that way
Now, does anyone local have front license plate bracket for sale?

Just make sure that your race gas map does not get accidentally loaded into your ecu when you are running pump and alky at a road course and you should be all set.
Doubtful. Mine is stock except for some no-name exhaust that was on my car when I bought it a month ago. But hey, a "slow" Evo is better than a lot of other things!
I'm in Mentor, by the way. I'm new on here and wondering if there are any people on the east side of Cleveland floating around.
Looks like I'll miss the Shootout tomorrow.

At least you don't have the slowest Lancer.
Hola. I live in the next town over. There's a 50% chance you've never heard of CT though (weird, huh?).
