Didn't you run in HPDE 1 at Mid Ohio? If so, you really have no business running slicks (R-6's, 710's, Z214's, etc.) yet IMO. Go with something in between if you must, like an RA-1 or A032r. Slicks are very unforgiving - you have lots of grip, and then you have none. FWIW, I've been tracking my Evo since I bought it in '03, and this is first year I've run slicks.

too bad we didnt have more memebers down my way toward Canton i feel like the lone Evo down here after my buddy just sold his silver one,. If u guys got any big meets coming up let me know i wouldnt mind taking a trip up your guy's way and im sure Dr. Fob (Karl) wouldnt mind seein his old Evo again lol
The Tune/Dyno day details are not fully worked out as of yet. We were thinking about actually taking a trip down to columbus to IPS motorsports (dynojet...... would rather be on a mustang or dyno dynamics but...). Not sure yet, but I have a pretty good deal down there for dyno time, but we may try to do something more local. I will let you know more details soon. Anyone Interested can PM me to get on a list and I will be able to get more information on cost etc...

mike127 - got my car back today from getting tint at A to Z. they took all day too do it. I dropped my car off 10:30am and didn't get it back till almost 8pm. Other than taking sooo long to get it done. i will say it turned out great. i love it, looks a lot better now. best of all...wait for it...... they DID NOT take it out for a joy ride. I made sure to keep track of my odometer and reset both tripometer A and B to 0.0 when i got it back they were both at 0.1 so that was a big plus for me. my tarmac black evo looks so slick and stealth now after the 20% tint. if you're interested in taking a look first, just let me know. but i'll will also probably post pics in show n shine early next week.
