I would love to come down to Louisville for a meet, just let me/us know when. Since moving down here I have been trying to find a good group of car nuts to hang around.

I've been on 3rd shift since 97' and I'm a night owl by nature. I will probably start making som plans here in the next month or so. That way we can give people enough time to get off work if needed. The meets are always on Sat. or Sun. so I know some unlucky people work them days.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Just give us lots of prior planning so we can set it on our caladars. I know there is an AWD Dyno shop down there some where. Maybe you can set a meet and dyno day. That would surely perk up a ton of interest.

I am anxious to see the improvements I have done over the past 2 years.

You must be talking about AutoMotion in downtown Louisville. The Suby guys just had a little get together down there about 2 weeks ago. They have a inground AWD Mustang dyno. From what I've seen, they have it set up to read as close to a DynoJet cause stock turbo STI's were putting down like 320whp on it with 93oct.

If we were to the usualy EVO, STI, WRX, and SRT meet like we've done in the past few years, a dyno meet would literally take all day and night probably.

I will for sure keep you guys posted. the local VW guys always have a big VW meet in the summer with food and stuff so maybe we can get some people to grill some burgers and some other stuff. If not, we have been known to just go out to eat after the meet was over.

Anybody still wanting to roll their fenders? I plan on renting a roller within the next 2 months. I have been looking at new wheels in 17x9.5. i was told that would have to roll the rear fenders for a 255 or wider.

No rolling needed for a 255. I'm sure you've heard me say it before..but for anyone wanting to run wider than 255 I STRONGLY suggest getting 18" and running 265/35/18's or 285/30/18's. 275/40/17's and 275/35/18's fit like crap. The sidewall is too tall. The 265/35 is a great overall size that fits without much work. Even with fender rolling you will get some rub on the inside fender liners when doing sharp full lock autox type transitions.

Depending on the offset of the wheels, you may have to roll the fenders with a 255/35. My old Evo 8 had 18 X 9 RGII's +29 offset with 255/35's and I had to roll my rears. My car wasn't all that low at all either. Could also depend on how much camber your running too.

Timmy,

I still want to roll mine. Let me know if you get the roller. I have a set of 18x9s +30 offset and will most likely put 265s on them. Then again I might just go with 255s and not worry about rolling them. Problem is I want to run 265 race tires this year. Oh the delimma. Get the roller and I will share in the pain of getting it done I guess.

So I am driving home today and hit one hell of a pot hole. Next thing I know I am hearing all kinds of loud klunking in the rear end. I get home to discover that my right rear sway bar mount is broken. GRRRR ! !

Anyone have an aftermarket mount I can snag for a price??

Dang, that sucks. Hope you get it fixed soon!

I have stuff laying around that I'm going to be selling. Haven't made a FS thread yet but I figured I'd give the locals first dips since shipping sucks.

4G63 4EVR sorry for not replying. I did not get any email from the site letting me know other s had posted.
I have had them replace my wing and front calipers. They also replaced the front breakes calipers and rotors on my 03. I have had no problems at all with them. I guess that was your car I saw there the other day. I was getting my free oil change and looking at the new EVO X they just got. It was still in the back getting cleaned up. Your car was in there on a lift. Good luck with the repair.
