Sweet Jesus -- talk about low ball offers from Mitsubishi. Offered 14k on my car -- KBB trade in value for a poor car is 20k.

Anyone here have a MR will to do a trade of suspensions? -- I have the Pure Tuning / PIC TSO Coilovers. Willing to trade those for a MR Suspension with some cash.

Dude you would be better off offering them on the suspension or trade boards. I don't think there are many MRs in the cincy area.

I took my JIC's off for probably the same reason your PICs are coming off. They sure make the car handle great, but boy is the ride rough.

I also noticed the car handles the snow much better in stock suspension form.

Edmunds is closest to what trade in value offer will be. And my trade in was what peeps were offering me for it too.

You're surprised? I wouldn't even dream of trading in a car these days. Heh, average trade in on mine is more than what they offered you...

Kind of suprised -- but then again not really...if that makes sense. I at least thought they would be close to the 20k and i could work with em. But 6 grand lower?? wow!

It was rather funny when I handed them the printout from KBB -- the sales manager kept fliping the pages back and forth as in effort to make the numbers change on the page..

It's not absolutely critical to get rid of the car -- just looking for a way for lower payments and lower insurance....I was even looking the SUV route. But oh well...

Greg, you know of anyone looking for a suspension?? heh -- driving only 8 miles a day (max -- for work purposes) -- this suspension has barely been used.

That's crazy Timmy. I already checked into the insurance -- i'd save 600 a year alone in overall insurance (i have 2 cars and a condo on the policy) so that is good. And my car payment SHOULD have been 100-150 dollars cheaper a month.

and with the 0% financing they were offering -- almost too good to pass up.

Greg, if you want the TSO's again -- we can work something out. Help me get those off the car, put on a stock suspension and we can work out a price.

Check your deductables on the cars. That is where the insurance companies make the biggest differences. Also your coverage levels will increase the cost too. You have to have the same coverages on your cars otherwise it is like comparing apples to oranges....yeah they are fruit...but not in the same family.

That's tempting, but I would have to wait until I start playing out to have some disposable cash at my, umm, disposal.

I'm tempted to change my ins. coverage since the thing is paid off, but my luck I'd get nailed the next day.

Greg,

I thought the same thing....then I remembered that our cars are way expensive to repair. Thus I kept my insurance the same. Heck my full coverage with a 500 ded, uninsured motorist coverage, tow coverage and additional protection for "customization" only costs me 800 a year.
