Saw a wingless silver 8 today driving south on 71...anyone on here?

 

^ havent seen it.I did however see a wingless blue in huber heights a few days ago, and then a nice LY the other night in E. Dayton....very nice rides, anybody on here?

 

It seems that the activity here has really slowed down. The only other evo I have seen is Carter's.

Anyone need a test pipe? I have one for 45 bucks if anyone wants it. It is non resonated.

Well I spent the weekend at Putnam, wrapping up the '08 season. Even took the car out both days for a little fun... Ran with HPDE 3 on saturday so as to stay out of the way of any regional championships in TT, but said eff it and ran in TTA on sunday. Car is still de-tuned (14psi), STOCK front brake pads, Tanabe springs on stock struts, a passenger every run, and 200 treadwear Hankook Rs2's. Still finished second in class.

Then loaded the whole family back in, packed the trunk to it's limit and drove back home. Nice.

 

Dang Greg.....you are the man. You need to let us know when these events are going on se we can come check them out. I would love to get a ride....woo hoo. Heck maybe you drive my car for a few laps and ...feel the power...haha j/k.

I hope all is going well. I really think it would be great to have a meet some time before the weather turns to crap. I was thinking on Sunday the 26th? Let me know if there is any interest and we can set up a time and location. Oh maybe we can make it a mini swap meet as I know all of us have some things we would like to unload.

I think I am going to head out to Tri State this sat for a few runs if anyone wants to head out before the track shuts down. The last time I was there is was hot and humid with a density altitude of over 2000 feet. A little better weather and I should be able to drop a few tenths.

I saw a white EVO X on I-75 north at exit 9

 

Lets set up a day to meet up. I'd hit the track one more time but probably limit the runs...I would hope the temps would help shave a tenth or two off!

The only days I can't meet up is the rest of the October Sunday to Tuesdays. Then again the tracks are closed on a couple of those days anyways.

If you want to set up a day just to meet up, how about somewhere like Rock Bottom, BJs Brewery, Hofbrau, The Pub or make some suggestions as I love microbrew and thats all I can think about apparently. I guess it doesn't have to be a place providing brews...

Anyone at Edgewater last night? I thought I saw an evo there....

And I am about to head up to Tri-state....not sure if any of you are close but they are only open to 5.

 

I went up to Tri State around 4 and hot lapped it to get in 4 runs before they closed. Got a new best trap speed of 116, not too shabby for a stock Z06. The air was nice and cool, a lot better than the last time I was there. I basically picked up 2 mph just because of the air. Too bad my clutch sucks or I could have picked up a little time too.

 

What was your times and 60'. Just curious.
