I had TRE do my DSM tranny and was very pleased with their work. They shipped me a box, I tossed the tranny in and had UPS pick it up. It came back a couple weeks later and took a massive beating.

For me it was more convenient to ship it to MI than it was to drive it up to Shep. I'm sure the quality is the same no matter where you take it.

Will a regular 03 Lancer trunk lid fit an EVO ? I thinking about going wingless but dont want a CF trunk or take the spoiler off and plug holes. I was pulled over twice this past weekend and both cops said that my after market spoiler was to high .

You have an aftermarket spoiler now? What kind? Must be huge to get pulled over twice in a weekend. Even then I'm surprised they'd waste their time pulling over a car for a big rear wing.

Maybe you could get the small spoiler that is made by Rexspeed that utilizes the factory wing bolt holes. It's a pretty nice looking low, flush mount spoiler.

Or you could get a new car brochure form the dealer and make them feel stupid for pulling you over. That would be cheaper and more entertaining than a new wing.
Just kidding

My trunk is off a 03 or 04 Lancer ES. It was $100 from the Jyard and my buddy sprayed it for $40. Best money I have spent on that car to date.

I am now a dad!

I would like to announce the birth of my wife and I's first child. He was born 6/26/07 at 3:17pm and weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and was 19 1/2" long. The pregnancy and birth were without complications and he is completely healthy. I am so excited. I would always love to go to the grocery store just for a chance to drive the Evo. However, we got home and needed a few things and I couldn't wait to get home. I already have the "Baby on Board" window stickies and my wife told me to get the matching Recaro child seat. I have never felt like I do, its simply amazing what joy a child can bring to your life. You can see him at...

He is under our names, Jason and Dawn.
