What are you going to do about the body panels and bumpers? That is a lot of repairs to get done in only 3 weeks.

Greg, I'm glad to see you are ok! You were really flying down that back straight!!! Just as Paul stated, the car can be fixed and you can't. I'm sorry you didn't reach your goals but atl east you gave it 100% (man you were flying down that back straight!)

From what you described majority of the damage was cosmetic which is good. Let me know when you start repairing the car -- I'd be happy to lend a hand.

 

The car will get cleaned up sometime this week, and that will be it. I'm not doing anything else repair-wise to it until after my double weekends at Putnam.

 

Damn Greg, glad to see that you are alright . I tried to make it out after work but I was to tired I just went back to the hotel in Willard and went to sleep.

well your not the first one to do that there! I remeber watchin a race on speed channel a bmw went flying off that berm too. Glad your ok Bo Duke!! Surprized that didn't bend any of the frame!

 

Not sure I didn't bend anything important yet. The car seemed to drive ok on saturday though, and was getting quicker every session.

 

Most likely a guy names Craig and I do not believe he gets on the site but its a Buschur Stage 1. At one time he was the fastest time with the BR1.

Does anybody know where I can get a set of stock wheels cheap?

I do not care about the paint condition as I will be painting them anyway. I would prefer to get them ocal so I can see them first. To check that they are not bent.

I am looking to get the newer version of the Enkeis...if you find them I will trade you. My stock wheels are in good shape. I was thinking of painting them myself too.
