Timmy,

I just put the HD twin in mine and I did not replace the push rod. You will love the clutch. It will take some time to get used to as it is either in or out....it's difficult to slip.

OK guys, it's freaking October. Next weekend the 20th and 21st are the last 'events' of the year - how about some participation????

Saturday the 20th - Annual Cincy DSM Shootout. This is for winter bragging rights, gates open at noon at Tristate Dragway. Maybe D&B afterwards?

Sunday the 21st - Last Cincy region SCCA event. I think I am gonna limp the Evo out to it's last competitive event and have some fun. Riverdowns is the location.

After that the Evo goes to the body shop and back to street duty. Stay tuned for the next chapter in my racing career.

It seems that nobody has been doing anything most of the year besides Greg and myself. I would've done more if the thing wasn't apart for a few months out of the summer

I haven't been around too much myself with travel for work.....but now that I am:

What about the makeup DSM shootout this weekend? Anyone going up? I am althought I won't have either 4G63 attending. Thanks to a terrible Aussie driver (rear-ended the evo) and a leaking brake line on the talon...

With or without the 4g63s, I am all about meeting up for some fall fun. Let's get together for a karting event in Lawrenceburg. We can have a mini-competition or something stupid and fun. Anyone?

This is very scary. From what I can see it was the same car, in terms of color and year, that I have too. Did you actually own the car or have the same year/color/etc?

I was just in an accident where I was rear-ended and something like this makes me think how lucky I am to get out with minor injury. Granted I wasn't street racing, but I can't say I have never played around on the street.

I realized that excessive street racing, top speed runs, etc aren't worth it after a buddy of mine rolled a DSM and walked away. He was attempting a "top speed run" and was unfamiliar with the area and locked his brakes trying to stop for a stop sign. This was scary enough and he was able to walk away with minor scratches.

Unfortunate times like this prove why we need to be responsible. We all know what these cars are capable of. This could have been myself if it wasn't for the person who had hit me and put my car in the shop. The hardest part is remembering what happened here when that SRT4 or STi is next to you with temptation...

I'm trying to get my DSM ready for Tri State. Every time I have it together it does something retarded. This time it's a massive oil leak on my 300 mile old built engine. I should have it together by next weekend though and it is full of C16 ready to lay down some fast times.

I am all for it......but I have military duty that weekend so day time is out for me.

I guess it is all just timing.

BUT .......If you all are looking to just hang out? The night of the 20th I am having a Halloween Costume party. Alcohol is provided. If you want to come......the more the merrier. This is an adults only party though...we are leaving our little ones with Grandma and Grandpa.

PM me if you want directions to my place.
