haha Dude I came from honda's there cheap, inexpensive to build, RELIABLE!! and Fast. Also you can beat on them and they come back for more!! B series motors are the shiznit!
You get the newest grass roots? Look at the artical on the best track cars. Notice how a honda and acura both took first... humm...
Notice that Danny Popp destroyed everything except the GT3 prepped Viper? I see a C5Z in my future.
Yeah he is just plain insane. That's about the only car I have ever seen go around the track with the wheels pointed straight ahead the whole time. It never looks like he is steering, it just looks like the car rotates.
DSM guys: Help!
My talon has a leak in the brake lines towards the rear of the car at one of the line support brackets. Of course its rusted to hell which I believe had contribution to the leak.
Have any of you guys repaired something like this before? I have done all the maintenance and mods on the car minus the actual rebuild of the tranny which I let Shep take care of. I don't know how comfortable I feel after looking at the task.
Sure its easy to buy brake line, cut brake line, bend brake line and double flair it, but it looks like a disaster in trying to get the lines off the car to cut. I planned on just patching the damaged area if I can get away with it. The problem I see is doing the patch without taking the entire line off. I think this would require dropping the tank if its the brake line that runs to the rear passenger wheel.
Any experience in this category? Suggestions or comments would be very helpful. I might *gulp* take it somewhere to have replaced or patched. It might be worth the cost at this point rather than wasted my time.
I guess I could always hack the line up to get it off and route it how I want....
