The ferodo 2500's would be fine for dual duty. I used them for quite a while.

HPS are street only and you will fade them if you try to stop from 100+. HP+ scream, they don't squeal, it is nearly unbearable. I have the HP+ on my car now and I can't stand them. THey did fine on the road course, but they are too much for the street. I have had Ferodo DS2500 on other cars and they are fine for fast street and autox, but I have never had them on the track. My favorite street pads are Porterfield R4S, but I still need to find a track pad I am 100% comfortable with. I have a set of brand new HPS in the boxes F&R if anyone is interested.

My HP+ hardly ever make any noise. They squeal every now and then but they don't scream...and they seem to work great on the street.
The HP+ also fade under heavy high speed braking.

The 2500's are not a track pad. I killed a set in one track day once I finally started driving my car. My suggestion still stands for either the 2500's or the HP+ for a dual purpose pad. The only way to have the best of both worlds is to switch pads at the track. I've done it for the last 2 years, but my car likely won't see very much street duty this year so the PFC-01's will be staying in.

I went out and did some logging the other night and had a Innovate LM1 in the car just to look at while doing some pulls and saw my AFRs go pig rich over 6k rpm. Pulled some fuel out and got the AFRs into the upper 10s above 6k and the car really pulled hard. It was kind of a PITA without an RPM signal to log the AFR though, so I went home and did some searching to figure out where to pull the RPM signal. I stumbled across the new Logworks for the Innovate LC1 and LM1 widebands that has a plugin for ECUflash. It lets you log any ECU parameter in Logworks and has options to plot the same graph that you would see in ECUflash with the AFR or timing or any other paramter populated in the load cells. It is 100% badass, so I downloaded it and just went out and tested it in the car. Works like a champ! I can't wait to go do some tuning tonight and set the car at 11.5:1 across the board.

Some guys from CSS are heading out to Tri State this weekend if any of you are interested in going. I'll be there looking for a somewhat respectable time. Hopefully I can kill the clutch and force myself into an upgrade.

Fender roller update:

There won't be any fender rolling this weekend unless I actually buy a fender roller which I'm considering. More than likely though it'll be next weekend. All the fender rollers are rented out and the soonest I'll get one is next weekend. If I rent it I'll have it for 5 days..

Man that new logworks is badass that's all I have to say. If any of you guys are looking for a new wideband definitely buy an Innovate if you are using ECUflash.

Have any of you considered the CarboTech pads? I ask because Doug used them on the outings with Greg some time ago and he raved about them for the track. I wouldn't recommend them for the street as they scream like mad. CarboTech does make several compounds for every application.

Welcome Nate....I guess since you are driving my car that you can be on here to discuss the muck. Good luck on replacing my clutch. Woo hoo number 4 here it comes. Thank goodness this one is a Exedy HD twin. I won't have another burt clutch. Let me know how to get you the $$ for the Shep tranny rebuild.
