Oil temperatures in the Michigan region

I just finished hooking up my Defi D oil temp gauge, and I'll be finishing my oil pressure gauge the next time I do an oil change.

What is the maximum and minimum oil temperatures that you guys are seeing with this weather. Just wanted others inputs to reference from. I want to make sure everything is working ok. Thanks.

If you have an oil pressure gauge as well, what oil pressure should I expect to see at the gauge?

Hey D...
did u use an adapter plate for the oil temp and press gauges? Too lazy to install my setup, so I still haven't done it. I'm actually thinking of NOT installing my other gauges till next year, maybe. done too much to the car already and I haven't hit the 1 year ownership mark yet.

Hey Ray,

I didn't use the adapter plate. I tapped into the existing oil plug sensor for the oil temp and I have to buy a fitting to use to plug in my pressure sensor onto the oil pump. I haven't hit the 1 year mark either! I would have liked to do more though.

Just walked out to my car sitting in the parking lot and it reads 135F, which would equal 57-58C. Is this what you guys are seeing?

I've already seen temperatures reading above 200F yesterday afternoon while driving on the freeway.

it's about road racing and keeping the car cool. It has some temperature info you can compare with.

Temps up to 130C!!! Ok. I don't feel so bad now when I'm only seeing a little over 100C.

Thanks Ray!

I usually get readings of 70*C if just normal cruising, but if I am boosting frequently around 90-95* C.
