I figured I would check here and see who all was going to IRP tonight (opening night of street car test and tune) and see not one single thread about it!

Unless it is rained out and I just don't know it, I am shocked that nobody has a thread up.

I plan to be there in my Red 05 RS. If anyone sees me there don't hesitate to stop and talk.

Keith, I think my brother and some of the DSM guys will be there pending weather cancellation. Knowing IRP it is already cancelled.

Can't wait to see what the RS can do!

It was canceled due to (get this) "cold weather".... the defenition of good power producing weather is now reason to close the track.

IRP is a joke.

PS: I think we should start having weekly meets in Indy on Tuesdays. We can call them the "IRP cancelation meets" and if by some fluke of nature the track is actually open we could go there.

 

I need to go to a couple of Tuesdays....I have never been on a 1/4 mile track. I need practice for the Winged Warrior event in June.

 

Well, the weather is supposed to be sunny all day Tuesday.... I will be going to IRP and I would love to see a bunch of other EVO's out there!

anybody end up going? i haven't been out there with the MR, took the blue evo out there a couple of years ago during truck bash, but on the first pass i almost killed the clutch slipping it like i used to have to do on the hondas I have since learned a little better on the evo's

 

I was there, my first run was my best of the night 12.7xx at 114.xx I was having bad ignition issues trying to run anything over 22 psi of boost. My last run of the night would have been a low 12 / high 11 but the ignition cutout struck hard at 7,000 RPM in 3rd gear.... only good 60' of the night wasted

i am going to be there almost every tuesday trying to get to the milestone of 11's on pump gas.....ughh been 3 times and haven't got it yet. Tuesdays suck at IRP but on Thurs. they prep the track (test and tune for the bracket racing over the weekends) and its $30 to race. I have about 13k on the stock yoko's. Looking into RA-1s.

I go pretty much any time weather is good and I am not screwed over by my work schedual. That is one of the things that sucks about IRP is having the track open to street cars only at night on week days. If the weather is good this Tuesday I will be going. If I have recieved my new coil on plug from Buschur and installed it I will be in the EVO, if not I will be in the wifes WRX wagon. If they made an STi wagon I would have one Are you going to "midnight madness" on the 28th? I am working nights that Friday, but if the weather looks good enough I may ask for the day off.
