I'm seriously contemplating driving down from Minneapolis and having the works done on the car. My biggest issue is that the season is more than halfway over and winter is coming.

I think I could get in 6-8 more events to include test and tunes. What do you guys think...spend the money now or spring?

Spend it when you can afford it, my man. I talked to Robi when I first got the Evo and have slowly been buying parts when I could to match his basic setup. I got lucky with him coming thru. Since I am doing a few bushings as well which need pressed (ball joint removed) etc, I would rather have an expert do it. Iowa sucks for shops etc...

FYI - Robispec is a suspension tuning guru. Does NOT do any engine tuning such as flashes, ecutek, s-afc etc. He only deals in suspension stuff.

Please check http://www.robispec.com for more details.

What KC said, if you have it now spend it now (i'm kinda thinking you do....)

If you have it now, think when will somebody like this be through here? Cause i really don't know...

I should have a bunch of shiny new boxes with the ARC logo on them by this weekend. If you guys are bored we could do a mod meet at my place / Initial D all day marathon.

I'll be putting in an oil temp sensor and then taking out the fuel pump to check an issue out Sat. Hopfully the car will be ready for the autoX on Sunday but at this point I'm kinda nervous about driving it. Seem to be having an issue with the Xede. That ****'s coming out and going up for sale. I'll be sending in the ecu to either BR or dynoflash on Monday.

FS: Xede with SMART - $600 shipped

ARC Induction Box
ARC Catch Can
ARC Ti Mainfod Heat Shield
ARC Ti Radiator Cooling panel
APR Strut bar
HKS recirc kit for SSQV

Going to replace the APS with my HKS again but setup for recirc. I also picked up a crap load of new samco silicon tubing to replace all the vacuum lines. Hopefully I can get the stutter/misfire/boost issue figured out. I'm also going back to the stock plug wires and ditching the magencors.

Picked up a Alpine 9860 head unit with DVD and Nav capability. I don't have all the accessories for it yet but going to yank the Sony.

All in all, its a crap load of parts! Should be fun

I have some added flexibility as I don't have a washer tank at the moment. We'll see how it goes, I have three upper IC solutions so if the XS-engineering kit doesn't clear I can mix/match. I am thinking of splicing the XS upper and go with the speed density air flow sensor anyway.

I would love to have a washer tank again....

Did you ever get your dual tank catch can?

I would do the robi-spec deal but my car is not in condition for him to tune it. I am thinking about APR body kit and the TE37 Magnesium or Super Advan rims. No sense it getting the perfect setup on a 235 series tire when I plan on going 275 or bigger in the next few months. That and my car runs like crap right now.
