I would love to have a washer tank again....

Did you ever get your dual tank catch can?
Yep, I have 2 sets, actually!

freakin riceboiz and their bodykits! You must plan on roadracing or time attacks!?! Else, I personally don't see a need for 275's and the APR kit...

Nope, just going to drive around with big azz wheels

I'm not sure, its a work in progress. I'd like to have an all around, do anything well Evo. I'm taking bite size chunks out of the project.

those dual cans look pretty nice, I checked out his website but it looked like they were back ordered.

If you guys are bored this weekend I can get some beer, but my house is in the middle of freaking nowhere. And its on gravel, so I'd probably have to pick some of ya'll up. Gravel makes nice plinking sounds in your wheel wells or off the side of your car.

No worries Tim, we'd just be trading each other our problems

The MBQuart amps are so powerful that I have to upgrade my electrical system to support them! While that may sound kinda cool, buying a $500 alternator and having to run a second battery sucks.

I already have over 100lbs of crap in the trunk!

oh, I meant I have two of his cans. I tried the duals, no good space to put them.

got one of those too, but mine sits the vertical way. For the ARC, you need to sit horizontal, right?

I forgot you had that kit, you can use the ARC no problem. The battery clearance issue is in relation to many of the aftermarket upper IC pipes.

You should hang out this weekend and we'll see what would work best for you. I have the APS, HKS, and now the ARC setup.

Actually, I have my whole setup already. Just waiting to finish break-in so I can bolt it on! I will be running the HKS intake - no turning back now. Its all anodized and good to go!

My upper IC solution doesn't work with the ARC induction. Anyone interested in buying it? I can probably still return it but I think they jack me on restocking fee's. $200 if anyone wants it. It looks bad *** btw, the ARC stuff is packaged amazingly well. Its the auto equiv of buying stuff from Apple. They also went to a sponge style filter element instead of the paper. It looks like it will breath really well. I can safely say the only aftermarket upper IC solutions that will work with this are the ones designed to fit in exactly the stock location. I have several IC kits sitting around and I tried all of them. The only one I could even get close to fitting correctly was the HKS upper with the VTA BOV setup. I didn't want to go back to VTA so I decided to put the APS induction back on.

On a side note... I have windshield wiper fluid again!!!!

Also, the ARC catch can kicks ***, really like the fit and finish and it is an all in one solution designed to take both the side and back of the engine rather than just the intake side. So I don't have to buy two of them!

I'm also selling the stock front tie bar if anyone wants it, $50.

Ryan - You can get more than 200 for it EASILY. Sell it in the classifieds.... You will get lowballed, so ask close to what you paid

Yep, the size of the ARC induction box is an issue. The Greddy upper pipe should work since it follows stock routing, although I am not a fan of it. I would recommend injen piping as well - seems well put together and it will definitely work.

So, no more hesitation and jerking. So, you can drive it to the next meet?

Yep, the Evo is alive... its alive! Turns out it was the Magnecore plug wires. I am going to raise the issue with them hardcore. I have used their products for 15 years and never had a problem. The funny thing is, the car idles better with the Magnecore but then misfires and causes all sorts of problems at speed. I thought I had a boost leak since the manifestation of the problem was that I could not boost past 14psi. If it had been 12psi or 10psi I would not have spent so much time troubleshooting my IC/boost setup. 14psi was just way too convenient of a number and usually indicates a plumbing problem. I probably did improve the air flow, I spent a lot of time working on the IC setup and its looking pretty strong now.

I do have a question now, I have run the tubing but did not connect the manifold outlet/PCV connection to the catch can. Do I just nipple off the other end? Feels wrong to disconnect that, won't that pull a whole crap load of oil?
