ya its cool Tim you gotta do what you gotta do. I guess I will just hear from ya on Wednesday just give me a call and if you decide you want to do it sooner i am pretty much free all week after work.

I'm actually even thinking about going somewhere to get my own jack and stands, and a socket set(since mine is missing a few) and just trying to do it myself tomorrow.

I do have 1 question for ya is there an 02 sensor in the cat and in the pipe of the catback or just in the catback???

It's just in the catback right after the cat. The other O2 sensor in in the O2 housing that the downpipe bolts up to, that part doesn't get touched except to bolt the DP into.

If you decide to do that tomorrow I may be able to come over in the evening and help you out (as long as nothing breaks at work)

You should be able to use you stock bolts and gaskets, they should work fine.

not funny ok ok i guess it is. well i guess i can just be patient and wait till wednesday so we can do it at ur place and probably do it twice as fast than if i was doing it by myself if not faster. Hopefully it won't take too long with 2 of us.

the catback pipe has a 02 bung already in it so it should be direct plug n play and no cel WOOOOT!

So i guess i will just wait till wednesday and you can give me a call unless you have time to do it sooner then just give me a call before 5 so i don't leave town and then you call me.

I don't know how your evos are, but if you don't have a cat you may still get a cel even though you have the bung.

On mine, i don't have a cat, but have the bung, so i would still have to get the cel fix to not get a cel, but my engine managment is set where it won't trip that code, so i don't have to mess with the fix.

But you still have to put that o2 sensor in, search on here. You can go to a autoparts store and buy sparkplug foulers, then you have to drill the hole out a little bit, put the o2 sensor in, then screw it into the bung on the catback section (second o2 sensor) but this should really only matter if you are taking your cat out.

Yep, Dustin is correct. It will throw a CEL from what I have read so far. You will need to use the anto-foulers (mechanical fix) or perrin style (electronic fix)

God this kinda sucks being like 4 hours from you guys. I wish I could be out in a decent Mitsu scene every night I went out. The scene around his is retarded as all hell.

The Perrin kit works great to prevent the CEL...

I have a high flow cat and I was getting a CEL until I used this

Ok, here we go:
Anyone wanna take a road trip to Gingerman Raceway for some road course action? I'm setting up a meet and it would be cool if you guys could come along.

Here's the details:

When : Monday, Sept 11th - Would leave Iowa on Sunday (early, like 7am) - We'll meet up with 5 or 6 others in Chicago, (Evo MR, S2000, 3 or 4 RSX's, WRX), then continue on to G'man.

Where : Gingerman Raceway - South Haven, Michigan (7 hour drive from Des Moines) - Stay at Hampton Inn - about 5 miles from track (Room rates are discounted at like $20/night/person. one of my buddies that's going from chicago works for Hampton Inn so he reserves the rooms to get the discount)

What : CGI Motorsports High Perfomance Driving School - (3 run groups, they run 20 minute sessions all day with an hour break for lunch) - New Drivers have an instructor ride along, usually after lunch you get signed off and then get to go out by yourself. You'd be surprised at how much you'll learn from the instructors.

Cost : $175 for the track time plus $20 or so for the room/night/person and whatever gas and food would be, (Breakfast Monday morning provided by Hotel). (I stay Monday night and drive home Tuesday Morning, but if you guys don't want to do that you can leave after the event Monday, that's up to you).

Requirements: A helmet, long pants, closed toed shoes, a good attitude and being ready to have fun!

The groups are limited to a small number of cars so you'd have to send in payment in the next couple weeks.

Their moto is "Serve track time family style - All you can drive".

Here's a link to their website if you wanna see more:
http://www.cgimotorsports.com/

I've been doing these for the last 2-3 years nearly every month during the summer, it's more fun than you can imagine! Everyone at the track is super cool and it's always a great time, you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it

Yea sorry man, I just got home from the hospital, my Grandma and Aunt were in a car accident so I went to see what was up. They were driving down a detoured road which put them on a dirt road, i guess it was really dusty and a semi smashed into the back of them and ended up on top of the rear of their car. They are going to be ok but my Aunt's back is screwed up and my Grandma is like in shock or something, she's really freaked out.

Was not the way I had planned for the day/night.
