I've been gone for 6 months and there seem to be a lot more Evo's in Des Moines now! Who's the very attractive Blonde woman with the Red MR?

 

Well I just got back from Gingerman Raceway. It was the West Michigan Honda Meet 6. It was an awasome event, especially for a full day of track time for only $85! There were 3 or 4 EVO's a couple STI's and a bunch of nice Honda/Acura's. I took some pics but didn't have a lot of time to take a lot. Oh and my battery was dead in my video camera so I wasn't able to get any in-car video

awesome Tim let me know when you wanna do my brakes and i can get directions to your place and we can tackle it. Seems as though we will only need to do my back brakes though since they said my front brakes are at 80% life.

I was hopin to have a cat back exhaust by now but i don't. I am trying to get a nice deal on a greddy TI for 750 and a DC sports dp which has the test pipe built in for 150 so im hoping to get that. If not i may just go ahead and give you some cash and just mount up your old exhaust system while Im there. I was thinking thursday woudl be a good day as tomorrow night i have some "big" plans with the lady and friday people are going to the drag and not sure if u were going and i was thinking about going. anyway let me know. i sent you a message and it has my cell in it.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna go to the drag strip or not. If I can get my wideband installed by then I'll go.

good question - Thing guy parks on the top floor of the ramp on 4th and Grand, maybe? I see it out of thr window from the 15th floor of 801 Grand everyday.

I have been trying to find this guy to get him involved, it is bone stock from what I can tell. I found Tim (badog) as a result of trying to find who this guy is!

 

whoa - there is a red MR? The only one I have seen is a IX MR still at the dealership.

Now, there is a red Evo VIII with bronze rims and stuff I see at the mall with some young gal driving it.

There is also rumors of a silver Evo with an attractive wonman driving it. I even found it in the archives here searching for Iowa owners!

Also, a sixty year old couple has an Evo VIII with cyclone plates that putt-putt around. Too funny to see

If you can get the DC for 150, thats a steal and same for greddy TI for 750.

I got lucky get my Ti for 745 brand new! My DC DP cost me 235 brand new.

I just had my DP bunged up for a wideband. I need to get a shield of some sort for the ACD. I am waiting on the coated buschur 02 housing to complete my exhaust setup.

I need to finish break-in first, I have 300 more miles to go

 

Garth - If you get his exhaust, I will sell you my carbon heatshield for 50 bux...let me know. Its brand new!

Also, i don't know who is all going to the autox on sunday, i'm planning on meeting up at perkins on fluer and mckenley (sp?) at 7:30am. Brian and Jamie were planning on meeting there, but have other plans, but they are planning on running at the autox i believe.

 

I'll be at the autox early, I'm co-chairing the event so I'll probably be there around 6 or so.

I'll have the car ready for the next drag strip trip for sure. I think I'm gonna go up and video everyone though Friday.

 

Yea, i figured you would have to be there early, didn't know if anybody else was going.
