Well, I am trying to round up all the Evo owners in Des Moines area as well as the whole state of Iowa.

LETS UNITE!

Also, Other Iowa members are welcome to chime in and post your location and vehicle as well.

So, I'll start the list with me and the others I know

3) Kevin - Black VIII Evo GSR - Waukee

- I can create a registry for Iowa members which would be awesome especally when driving thru and across the state.

- Based on the area and number of cars, we could travel within the state for meets!

I know theres more out and about here in des moines area - I have seen 2 white ones, 1 silver, 1 grey MR and 2 red. So, thats atleast 6 more members out there. Please post up, so we can try and meet up!

Sounds like you've got one awesome idea with Iowa and Evo owners. I'd be glad to help out but I don't own an Evo. I've got a Lancer OZ Rally. But don't get me wrong I'm very proud of my OZ Rally, but I know she ain't no Evo. So lemme know... because I am quite the Mitsu Lancer/ Evo girl... in general I am a racer/ tuner chick.

Well, looks like we just sold our '03, so if we can get a deal worked out we should have a 9 on the way. Too bad we're so far from DSM.

 

I do not live in Iowa, but I was raised there, and my parents live in Ottumwa! I come through Des Moines a least once a month.

Yeah.. definitely feel a bit left out but oh well you deal with what you have.. and like I said before I love my OZ. My insurance would murder me with an Evo at this point of time anyways.

I drive through DSM all the time on my way to Nebraska for NE/IA meets, if I had an Evo I'd gladly come join you guys for a meet.

Good Luck getting something started... wish I could join but no Evo.

haha... cedar falls raceway... been there, raced there. haha. i use to live in waverly near cedar falls and waterloo so i was out at that track before. not a bad track.

theres also a track in cordova, il http://www.cordovadrag.com they two have all night drags aka midnight mayhems and test and tunes and what not. check them out. all the peoples from the quad city area hits up that track.

 

Lily03 - You like Evo's, right? If you want to come to the meets and hang out, thats just fine. I don't mind - others wouldnt either. Your time for an Evo will come if you want to make it happen. Stay positive! Later this week, I will try to contact everyone and get email addresses

Hey what's up, it's been awhile! The car is doing good, I'd love to get back out there, but this weekend I'm going to St. Louis. When's the next one? Maybe some of the people in here would join in. I'm about the only one out of the group from last year that races anymore...

Also, as for everyone getting together, Nothing wrong having an OZ join in, the more the better!
