My house is 2.5 miles out on a gravel road, it spent most of this winter covered in mud

That very well could be the issue. I just sold my turboXS FMIC yesterday. I would switch to the MR BOV or try the HKS re-circulated.

I know you had issues, but remember the HKS is one of the best designed BOV's (cannot leak) BUT its meant to be re-circ'd on a MAF car, unless you are running a standalone, etc. The only issue with it is that it needs a good vaccum signal which is harder when you have big cams etc...

I will run the HKS re-circ'd and eventualy just go MAFTPro...This is very distant, but I am planning in that direction!

Talk to you soon!

Plus, its my first brand new car and I am very protective of it. Yes, I am a pansy!

I'm not worried about the rain for the car, I just don't really feel like standing in the rain outside checking out cars and getting soaked
