OK, I'm from Chicago, but we were in downtown des moine for my friends wedding last sat/sun. Can I ask where everyone is downtown, b/c we rolling in town around 3pm sat and we seriously thought the town was closed for construction or something, the only people we saw were workers. the front desk girl told us that downtown is more of a business district but maybe we are just used to people being around constantly. Very nice city and clean though. Long *** drive, don't know if we'll be going back any time soon

Oh, I bet you guys have a lot of fun with the 70 mph speed limits though, my friends and I were doing at least 100+ driving back to chicago with no cops at all.
Sorry to jack your thread, just want to know where everyone was at!

13 flat with a 1.89 60ft at 103mph today that was the best. i screwed up a good run that could of landed me mid 12's DOH. Gotta practice the launches, but not bad for the first time at the track with the evo.

I would take it to mitsu or AMS for that, don't look at "KC's Garage Crew" to help on that....

thats tim's driving style. i rode with him once in the wet, when he only had dr harnesses in his rsx, and well, hahaha.

I prefer to be in my own car, running behind/in front I'm sure he'd think the same riding with me though

Tim was wicked smooth, he had some of the best times of the day as well. I was extremely impressed with his driving! He definitely reinforced that the Evo really is an amazing car when setup and driven properly. I had no idea what our cars were capable of until yesterday. I've been busy surfing parts sites all day to set mine up for the track next year! The winter is as good a time as any to start something radical!
