Well today we had a little EVO meet & greet today up here in Minnesota.

Erioshi, Perversity,Trigeek37,Myself, and Rax showed up and took pix and talked about the joy of our EVOs.. the Pix is in the name order from Left to right.

After the meeting was done we all headed home, we pull out of the parking lot and, a Yellow M3 drives by and we all happen to hit a red light with Erioshi side by side with him. Green light they both gun it and Erioshi pulled ahead and away from The M3 but.. there wasslower car up ahead so he had to let off.
Later on when we all hit the highway
Perversity and The m3 owner pulled over and talked. The guy had a superchager..

In all it was a fun night, we hope to have more people show up next time as more people find out about EvoM.net and more Evo show up at our Dealerships around town.

 

I'll show up if you guys come down to sunny South Florida!! Wish I could get somethin like that goin here...

The M3 and I rolled to about 10 mph then we hit it. It was really close; I had to back off for trafic but I had him, and was slowly pulling out (by inches). Oh, Perversity ran the M3 down later and compared some notes; turns out the M3 was sporting a Dinan Supercharger kit...

His first question was "Is that stock?"
That was followd by "That thing will be really fast once you mod it..."

Not too bad for my first (real) kill with a stock Evo.

We only had a 3 day notice and its was a weekday.
I bet the real problum is nobody ever read their Regional forum.
And i think stufff like Meeting shuold be posted on the genrel forum with time and date where everyone reads it. But im worried Admin will just move it..

 

U guys really have to do it again soon, i really wanted to come but with work ans stuff on a short notice i couldnt, lets set another one up on a weekend and go cruzin toghether on Uni. or something, that would be awsome,

 

Hey Jonasan50 I'm down for a Evo meet just let me know when. I got a friend with a Red Evo 6.5 TME and i bet he will come to.

 

Insidious.. Yeah I know that T.M.E If you've been to Tower Shops I'm sure you might've seen me... I have a Yellow EVO with limo tints on it... My buddy and I usually drive the EVO and my WRX there on Friday nights.. Maybe next Friday we can hook up.. E-mail me..

 

There will be another EVO meet in Minnesota soon. On August 23rd is the All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show at the Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, MN. Minnesota and all other EVOs and Lancers are welcome to attend.

It's been quite a while since we've done anything - I think it's time to do something again.

For those that were at the quick meeting, please pm me with contact info - I need submit your info to the dealership to set you up the for 20% parts discount. It saved me quite a bit when I bought my guages and mounting kit.
