Post Looking for Local Evo Tuners in Il

Hey all...

Im weighing my options to find another local tuner here in Illinois. This is a possibility only because I may not be able to wait a couple more months for a tune. I would like to find a shop that specializes strictly in Evolutions and can do custom road and/or dyno tunes. Who is here I know of so far:

1. AMS
2. Devo Tuning
3. P&L Motorsports
4. GRD
5. Kunal
6.
7.

Who else can do this and specializes strictly in Evolutions and can do custom road and/or dyno tunes in the IL and local midwest region.

Im just seeing whats local encase I become to impatient to wait.

Thank you!

- Dominic

I don't think you'll find a shop that's just EVO specific. AMS works on subarus now. Adam was rebuilding a forrester last time I was there.

As far as tuners:

AMS, P&L, GRD, DEVO, Kunal. . . You probably wont get most of them to road tune though.

yeah GRD is cool. i think they started being subaru and audi specific but have moved into a lot of things. my bro and a few friends have gotten some WRX work done there. owner tuan (sp?) is a super cool guy. one time the work on my friends exhaust took longer than expected so he ordered us a pizza while we were bumming around for the extra hour!! haha. anyway seemed like a real decent shop, but i was at the old one on ogden, i heard he moved.

GRD moved east on ogden a few miles. There's a bbq joint just west of Geralds Subaru, they are a few hundred feet west of there.
