I'll be moving to the St. Louis area in May. I drive an 04 Ralliart. I'm wondering who else is out there.

There are quite a few Evo's in the STL area...however, this thread is a fair representation of the enthusiasm of the Evo community in STL. I tried getting a few meets together last year...fizzle city. Maybe it was just me...I am known to suck the life out of anything.

Yeah, I agree. This area is not very interested in Mitsu meets. I did go on a road cruise with the STL Lotus gang and had an excellent time. Made some new friends. Prolly 30 of us started a cruise from the Bentley Dealer in the Valley, cruised a pre-determined route for a couple of hours worth of driving and ended at the Augusta Winery. Very nice and friendly group, but I'm no youngin' and was one of the youngest folks there-LOL! We had folks with several elises, other Loti (I'm **** poor in Loti recognition), a Noble, several kit cars (like super 7 knock offs) some real Supers, old Corvettes, etc. plus a yellow Delorian.
They post on this Midwest section here, so when they are having a get together, and I highly recommend it. All are Welcome!!! Note: I was only Evo that showed, so questions were a-plenty!

I'll be moving to the Chesterfield area. Sounds like you will be close by. I haven't ever been there. I'm going out the in a couple weeks to look for a home. What is it like out there?

 

Very nice area, one of the better areas of St. Louis. Its also known as "West County" lots of money out in Chesterfield. Good amount of street racing in the Metro Area...the race track is about 40 min from Chesterfield. Gateway Racetrack is just over the river....along with the strip clubs

 

Are you working in the city and living in Chesterfield? Or are you living and working in Chesterfield? Big difference in your daily mental anguish.

 

Don't know for sure where I will live. I'm looking at houses in a couple weeks. I will be finishing my education at Logan C.C. in Chesterfield

 

Then I honestly don't know how well Chesterfield will work with the budget. You are looking to spend 200,000 plus for any house out there.
