Where are the Lancers in Northern IL, and WI? Missed you at Great Lakes today
Hey guys,
It was great day of sun and fun at Great Lakes Dragway today. Perfect weather for the drag races and the car show. Only bummer, only one other Lancer at the event. I drove mine up and put by my shops tire trailer. Got a few looks, that's nice. Saw someone come in w/Black EVO. Didn't get a chance to talk.
The next Import Wars should be slammin. It will be July 13. Word is the hotter the weather the more people. It was a good turnout today. We made lots of Biz contacts. I was just hoping to see some of the Lance/EVO fourm members make the trip.
One last thing, this might be good place to hold a Lancer/EVO meeting sometime. They have track time nearly every weeknight durning the summer. Let me know, I can work out the details. Anyway , everyone interested should make an effort to show up, it is a real laid back and cool atmosphere. Plus the food is good and the serve beer in the morning. Hey, it's Wisconsin!!

Some of my teammates went to GLD that day. Our orange Civic took second place in the Civic class (he won first place at IW #2) and our VR4 ran low 12s only to lose out in the quick 16 by redlighting.
