there are people who enjoy causing misery, living with it the rest of their life is not going to be a problem. and its not like these kinds of people are in Iraq, they're definitely here in America, trust me, I know, I used to be a real estate agent. you actually have to fight them to get them to stop, they have no conscience.

 

drinking and driving and speeding.... thats much worse than just drinking and driving...

 

Having seen one terrible collision with a concrete median with my own eyes (car was two cars behind me on the way to work one morning) and the aftermath of another (SUV hit the median due to poor situating of traffic cones in a work zone), it makes me wonder why these concrete medians are used at all.

In Europe, they have a continuous deformable steel/aluminium median barrier. It is strong enough to keep huge semis from crossing into oncoming traffic in a collision, but the fact that it is deformable saves many lives. It is also cheap and easy to replace sections when they get damaged.

So, again, why have these concrete barriers?

Alcohol..high speed..no seatbelts..loosing control... no wonder why I pay $68 full coverage a month for a $49k BMW instead of $100 a month for a Evo.

We are self destructing ourselves with the rates. We are giving the cops the chance to harrass us more and be a victim of profiling if we keep acting like this.

I don't want to see people dead but for god sake how difficult is to put your seatbelt on?, how about moderation with the alcohol while driving

It is so true on how the driver never dies. They need to live their life in guilt.

 

My heart aches every time a thread about drunk driving involving deaths pop up.

Guys, if you go out drinking with friends or family or whatever make sure you have a designated driver or call a cab. Remind those you love about the consequences of drunk driving and remember to always buckle up.

Please guys, take care of your buddies and yourself. Remain vigilant of those who want to drive when they are drunk.

I do not want to ever ever see another thread like this again. Absolutely no excuses.

I say again, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE, its not worth it. Thats my 2c.
