local il evo owner need some help

i am looking for any evo owner in lake in the hills ,or crystal lake area running a front lisence plate. i just need to look at it to see if i can get it to work on my wrx. cops are killing me as of late with no plate, tints on windows,and exhaust please post up if you can help a fellow boosted car owner out

Your post confuses me... what do you need exactly? I'm pretty sure you don't need an evo guy necessarily.

Sorry but I don't have a front plate

i need to see an evo plate mounting bracket. your cars come with front mounts mine does not i have a rather large fmic ,and i need to get a bracket to fit a plate on my car off to the side much like the evo has. i was told the evo bracket works. so yes i need an evo to see if it will work. otherwise i need to look for a diferent setup

I can't believe that ours would work on a wrx. I think your best bet would be to make one that screws in where the tow hook would.

hey brian i was told the evo plate mount would work. i am going to look at a setup saturday . if it works i will be very happy.

crystal lake gives me no problems niether does lith. my tickets as of late have come from south barrington. no they need to find some thing to do. got an exhaust ticket,and was hassled they even took my license ,and i went to court tuesday ,and showed i bought a sliencer,and they dropped the ticket . officer got a verbal spanking for putting his hands and head into my car and moving stuff on my seat.

are u serious you got an exhaust ticket ? I had a cavalier with a greddy exhaust that thing was LOUD. All i got was a warning for playing my music too loud thats all cops i guess in bloomingdale don`t really care. All my co-workers have loud exhuast and doing stupid crap like burn rubber and do doughnuts (sp) on the empty street from our work

just use velcro strips to hold it on and remove it when you dont want it

yeah i am serious ,and it sucks i am going to run a silencer when driving to work now. i never had any problems with the cops ever until i went with the aps 3.5 and equal lenght headers. it is alot quieter now i used to run a blitz tail section on 3" with no headers and that was way loud never bugged about exhaust then. i guess the aps can draws the attention it is huge
