Anyone care to post/PM me more info on this "mystery" tuner?
Pm me and I will give you his info!!!! P.S. reliability comes first in his tunes, then power!

Tuning cost doesn't dictate power output. We do not squeeze out every last drop, we do not believe in tuning on the edge for a few extra horsepower. We take reliability and safety and place it far before horsepower. Our tuning method includes targeting safe AFR's, boost levels and timing advancements while avoiding feedback from the knock sensor.

I wish you the best of luck with whomever you choose, I'm only responding to clearly portray our services. We would love to have the opportunity to gain your business, let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Glad someone from AMS chimed in. That's exactly what I am looking for, safe AFRs and no knock . I wasn't trying to relate tuning cost to power as in the more you pay the more you get. I was just merely trying to compare "shop" prices.

My evo is currently at Devo Tuning getting the front end rebuilt. It looks fantastic! Now I just have to wait and see how it drives.

Every tuner's goals are safety/reliability first and foremost, unless otherwise noted :laughs:. Power is a added benefit of how efficient the motor then becomes.

Yes, they do all sorts of work, hell they piece together wrecked Evos and sell as salvaged title cars.

Not a bad idea. Probably can get one pretty cheap.

I'll throw in a vote for Kunal
I have no experience about Devo, just heard that when Adam does the work, it's good, the rest of the shop can screw some stuff up though (just what I've heard)

I've heard great things about Devo. Kunal is also an awesome guy! We have a lot of midwest tuners.
