Devo Tuning in Lake Barrington IL
It was one car not cars. This was one of my buddies cars. I dont need to get into detail about how it was discovered it was wrong, but when you see a/f ratios at 12:5 and 24 psi of boost on pump gas. Anyway he admitted it wasnt right and he fixed it. I dont know how this car was tuned didnt ask and i dont care he just told me he had devo do it well there were takin care of a couple other things. So thanks for your concern an have a nice day
Devo has worked on really fast drag cars. It worked on Dan Bajalis car which we all know is gonna break 8 second passes this year. We also know that they have worked on Mike Reichens car that broke many records and currently holds the standing mile record. His car to had plenty of 9 second passes.
this is propably the first time im going to post anything, ones cars are tuned at my place they live at 21 psi max on pump gas and 11.5 afr, most of customers race there cars on daily bases so please stop baching my tune as said somewhere before i never ever lost a motor while runing my maps whether its aem, autronic, flash or safc i dont tune customers slower than i would my own some of the grafhs speak for themself bottom line is cars live with 0 count of knock it might slower the car down because one is running lower timing advance but motors last 80k miles and no need to have a dust pan handy to pick your rods of the highway

Glad to see you on here Adam! I've tagged along to the shop a few times with my good friend Ivan. He had a red Evo you threw some stuff on, and then he bought that white GT35R powered car from Arlington heights last summer that he traded you his white hood for your carbon fiber one. Sad to say right before winter it was vandalized and totalled. I'm sure you'll see him/us this spring for a tune on his MR. I actually want to bring the car by sometime soon to see if you can track down a boost leak. I bought my car from Autobarn Nissan in Evanston and had Devo stickers on the back sides.

Anybody have Adam's phone number or an alternate number to Devo Tuning? I tried contacting his business but it says the telephone lines are being checked for service issues. I have been trying for weeks now but still no luck. Any number would be appreciated. Thank you.
I think we've all seen what Adam is capable of producing if ya got a chance to check out Dan Bajalis's car. Even though there was some bad luck at shootout 07 with the fuel pump, the car will be out this season running some seriously fast times. The problem with the pump was noticed in time. The car has since had the fuel system cleaned out and a brand new Weldon pump installed in place of the bad one.
I suggest for anyone that questions Adam's work, that they wait and check out the car that should be out very soon. The custom one off parts and fabrication going into this car should definitely show everyone in the DSM community that Devo Tuning is at an equal playing level with the rest.
BTW, for reference the 847-852-1800 has been changed.. The best number to reach them at is on the shop cell at 847-219-0029. I'll post the new land line number tomorrow, just want to double check first.

Only if people really knew about his work
and why alot of his cars end up somewhere else.
About a year ago i had adam install cams, mani, head studs, o2 housing, and a forge actuator. they test drove it and the car was making way more boost then capable for pump gas. And he told me straight up... DO NOT BEAT ON THIS CAR, untill you install a boost gauge and a boost controller. Well i didnt, and i installed those parts and my car is still kicking *** today..... Now there are alot of idiots out there in this industry! I MEAN ALOT, and im willing to guess that same situation has happend befor and im cofident that through out all the dumb a$$es i have met. They would have ripped it the first chance they got. So whos fault is that?, well the idiot who drove the car. But wether those same people are telling there friends, a forum, or explaining to there parents wiping there tears away.....They sware its DEVO's fault.
Everyone has problems with shops. wether customers from AMS might start taking there car to DEVO, or DEVO to Strictly, Strictly to AMS. It happens. For lots of reasons. If you have a problem wit any shop, id say take it back and work with them. But people who cant take responsability for there own actions and think they can get something for nothing.... Where ya gunna go when those shops get sick of the bullsh!t and close there doors?
