what's up guys. Ron's extremely busy, he's pretty much a one man operation. We talked about a Evo dyno day while we were on our way up to PA for the Subaru Shootout(which got cancelled because of rain, blah) and he said he can do it, he just needs a big heads up so he has time to schedule things. If you want Ron to set a date, then just let me know and I'll talk to him in person about pricing and scheduling.

Pm me some contact info and we can work out the details. Ron mentioned today that the only possible conflict in October would be the StLouis Vw club possibly. I can check with one of my contacts there to make sure theres no overlap.

Can't wait to see what kind of numbers the boost control re-flash will net!

I will definitely be down for this. I haven't been on the board in a while so it is a good thing I decided to check it today. I would really like to see a price on the addition of the boost control, but I think I am ready to buy the ecu.

Thanks Dan! You actually make number 10 on the list, which puts us at the next level at 15% with Works on site! Again we really need to get a few more on board as the list is not firm yet, but reasonably speaking it seems like we are going to at least get to the on-site re-flash level 2 which is a very positive thing !!

Btw- I should have thought to pm you Dan.....good thing you checked out the region forum eh???

Thanks Again!

I'm in for the Dyno pulls as long as it's not on the weekend of October 18th (Business trip). I have pretty much exhausted my budget for mods this ear, but I would like to see what I'm pulling w/ my current parts, plus this would probably be the biggest EVO meet in the Midwest so far, how can you pass this up!

evo8usa-

I am going to have to start a list of folks that just want to dyno their cars, and am remiss for not having done that yet. I agree, the way this is going we will have a large number of Evos participating and it probably will be one of the biggest events of its sort for the remainder of the year. Sounds like a lot of fun and a last chance to get out for an event before winter sets-in!

As I mentioned to Ron at Axis Racing, we may need to book two days, one for regular dyno pulls, and the other for overflow and for folks wanting more time for dyno tuning. Ron is up for having a Sat/Sun event if needed, and we can work on getting some kind of a discount group deal on motel rooms should folks need to do an overnight.

Again folks spread the word and the more participation the better!

When will we see a set date? I bet we could get some more participates if we have a set date for the dyno-day. Plus, the sooner i can make some firm plans the better.

I agree - lets go for a date.
Also, where is this place at? I'm curious how far a drive it will be for me.

Ok folks, I will open a new post today that will be specific to dialing in the firm dates and commitments. I am looking at a primary target date of Oct 25th with rollover to 26th, or as a secondary we get into the Nov1/2 dates.

The only issue with the Nov 1/2 is that it follows right after halloween and many people may not want to travel that evening for a fresh start at 8 the following morning. I am going to assume that the 25/26 is the best date, but give me any feedback.

Any earlier than that and we lose one participant, and I don't think Works can make it due to prior commitments.

Pick a date that everyone can attend and I will run it by Ron. FYI, Saturdays are best for him.

You can put me on the list to do dyno runs, I have went the other route with mods and such but I would like to get a run to further tune things properly. Keep me in the loop!

GTVEVO- Sounds good....the more the merrier! Pm me with details of what kind of set-up you have and I will make sure that we identify the kind of time needed to meet your specific tuning needs!

Thanks again!

So far we have a contingent of participants from the Kansas City area, Springfield Mo area, St.Louis area, and Chicago area.

Any one representing those areas may have additional contact with other area Evo owners. If you do, please let others know, as the regional forum doesn't get broad visibility by all EVO owners. An example is that yesterday I spoke to a local guy in St.Peters in a Silver Evo, who had not even heard of evolutionm.net much less the dyno day. I don't have a commitment from him yet, but hope to add his name to the list soon.

If you do spread the word locally we can gain some additional representation from each city group, and this will help further off-set the dyno-day gtg costs. It also gives you an opportunity to caravan to St.Louis together.

Just provide feedback or direct interested parties to either of the St.Louis dyno day post'.

Btw- Take a look at the other post -
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=39902
and let me know if the lists look right, and if the date 10/1-2 will work out ok with everyone. The sooner we can lock-down on the date and the gb the better.

Thanks again!

Thats not the guy who works at the dealership is it? Is it a liability to have a guy from the dealership there? I guess it just bothers me that everytime I stop by the dealership, the first thing out of their mouths is "what mods have you done?" Makes me suspicous.

Either the last weekend in October or first in November works for me.
