It looks like Nov 1 is the date.

We will have to try and get our firm numbers/participants to turbopoo2000 and Ron at Axis Racing over the next couple of weeks. This will allow us to see how we are going to break-up costs for the dyno and gtg.

Lets just say that we will have that list to Ron/Axis by October 11, which is two weeks out. I will assume that most will just want to perform standard dyno pulls..... unless you let me know specifically that you need a little more time for tuning.

I think Evo-Bill and kcevo were both interested in tuning time, which according to Ron will take more like 1-2 hours depending on the set-up. Anyway if anyone desires this kind of tuning session just let me know and we will calculate time/cost accordingly, once we can get a full count of participants.

When you give me a thumbs-up on making the Nov 1 dyno day date, I will list you as confirmed. If you are in on the Works Gb, I will also indicate you are confirmed once you communicate that your pre-order is completed with Works!

Thanks!

Sorry for being a little slow on the trigger.....a bit under the weather, and Nyquil does wonders for easing the pain!

Question, will we have time to make a pull then make a quick adjustment on our safc and boost then pull again, That would only take about 5 min or less and maybe get 3 pulls or do we need to alot ourselves tunning time. If so what else could we adjust? I just want to be sure that I know the rules/

Well if its just a quick ajustment of an SAFC perhaps it wont be a dramatic time adder. I will try and get a read from Ron on this one. I did ask him recently about dyno tuning an e-manage, and he said that it could take about 2 hours worth of dyno tuning as it affords more adjustability and therefore adds to the level of complexity.

He did say that if the piggy-back is fairly well-tuned with some kind of decent baseline progam, that the time required for tuning would be less....more like an hour.

Ron says that he can run 3 cars at 5 pulls each in an hour. Your tweeking may not add too much, because you can make SAFC changes fairly quickly. The issue is probably not how quickly you can make changes, but how quickly you can reach a point of optimization.

The problem is that making 5 runs provides the car a chance to warm-up and you can get a good average. If you are making changes after every run you may need an extra run to get some kind of average.

I don't want to see anyone pay for more than they need, but at the same time if you are making the trip lets make it count! I will talk with Ron next week to discuss how to break-up the dyno sessions into logical packages, that will allow folks to budget accordingly.

Adjusting a SAFC will be fine.

Ohhhhh, how can I resist? Sign me up. I'll call WORKS tomorrow and let them know that I'll be buying an ECU flash. I don't know if I'll want full dyno time, though.

BTW, thanks for the heads up on this event, N10S.

Thanks Ajax77!

The dyno activity is not required to get in on the Gb, but it will be good to get another on board to help keep us on track to meeting our goal for the level 2 gb which is 15% plus having Works on-site performing in-car reflashing at the gtg on Nov1 .

Btw even if you can't make the event you can still get the Gb discount , you will just have to pay shipping, etc... .

Hope to see you there!

Thanks again!

What are the plans regarding food and beverages? Are we on our own or should we bring 5-10 bux per person? I'm good either way. I'm plannin on bringin a buddy to keep me company on the trip down and back.

There is fast food places around the dyno shop, and I guess we could BBQ there if you guys want to. That's another thing that needs to be decided.
