I also slapped on a TestPipe - so I doubt it gets out much in the STL area now as it's really f'in loud under WOT.

That, and the graphics, harnesses, no horn, no airbags. Hmmm....

That's a big congrats for your performance up in Joliet. Gotta get out and see you in action one of these times...if I can ever manage to be near home (dern job!!!)

 

Hey thanks! Autobahn is quickly becoming my favorite track. It's highly technical once you build up a lot of speed with some higher speed sweepers so it's a good mix. One thing really helpful is it doesn't have a huge high speed straight; as well all know our (stockish) Evo's aren't the fastest car up top due to air resistance and gearing.

Track event in St Louis @ GIR!

What: SCCA PDX Full Day Event #2
When: Sat Aug 29
Where: Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL

As some of you may know, I help instruct for the SCCA on track days. Next weekend is their 2nd full-day track event on the infield course at Gateway in St Louis. This is not a cone-dodging AutoX - this is a fullspeed track event on the roadcourse/roval.
I've already signed up to instruct. I'll bring the car and probably give rides to my students as well. Shout out if you're going to be there.
