Buschur is in Wakeman, OH

AMS is a few miles outside Chicago

Or you could get tuned remotely by e-mail with a vendor like Mellon Tuning (www.mellontuning.com)

I was actually thinking of taking mine up to MAP in Minneapolis, what part of Iowa are you from?

Best place in Minnesota in my opinion for tuning imports, especially mitsus, is DB Performance. Shane Ziegler has over 10 years experience tuning 4G63s, has an awesome dyno dynamics dyno, and is one hell of a nice guy to work with.

Some fun vids from his shop:

I remember like 7 years ago, the Iowa guys would always make a trip up to have Shane tune their DSMs back when Shane worked at Elite Autosports.

I 2nd DB Performance in Minneapolis here. Only person I'd trust in these states! Give them a call. He's tuned more high HP 4g63/4's(including his own and my past ones) than anyone else in the area.

Maybe Mellon can step in here

I have worked on my rom some with removing EGR, FP noid leaned the car out to around 11:1 on 91 I have not touched the timing map at all. I am using one of the Tehpra roms

Can I send you my map and you work your magic on that rom or do we need to start over from scratch?

Thanks
Scott

I CAN but it's not my preference, I'm not real comfortable putting my good name and reputation on someone elses base tune. Often I wind up spending more time "un****ing" the tune than I would have if we started from scratch.

the tephra/egr bits don't bother me, it's using someone elses fuel/timing maps.

however, if you're adamant about it to save time, I'll consider it once I see what I'm going to be working with. Sometimes I'm surprised and it's actually pretty good, other times, it's terrible and there's no way I'll work with it.

shoot me an email with this conversation and let's talk
