So..not everyone knows what an evo is. But have you every gotten pulled over and an officer knows exactly what your car is? Yesterday I was driving through Evergreen park on 95th street and this squad car pops and pulls me over..First thing out of his mouth was...you had that evo going there didn't ya?...I'm thinking to myself douche bag.. Yes I was speeding but I was going 5 over..he says he clocked me going 52 in a 30... I should explain that I saw said douche bag three lights back going in the opposite direction. He says I punched it going past him..when I know all he heard was the exhaust..wtf
..I asked to see the radar he said no..and I got a citation for speeding..*******.. So..I'm curious have any of you ever gotten pulled over for "just having an evo"....
P.S...I also was D.W.B..but that's a whole other story...

My favorite line from a state cop after asking me to rev it up: "wow, that's not as loud as the last one of these I pulled over". Then..."btw these windows look pretty dark".
^^ Came away with a ticket for window tint. He pulled me over for no front plate - only I had a front plate...

I thought about it...I really did..but..I just know..it's his word against mine. He has a badge and a gun..so...EPIC FAIL..I will just pay the money to take the defensive driving class...

... lemme guess your plate is over and to the left..I got pulled over in Melrose Park for that too...his face broke when he saw the plate...
+1 I would just have liked him to admit...he heard the car...not say I was speeding...I'm that stupid to where I'm going to punch it going past squad car...lol..riiiiight...

I got profiled in the S more than anything because it was loud as ****, especially after we put the APR wing on it.

Porsche a lot less, but the only time I got pulled over in it was as a warning to me and 2 Evo buddies on a group drive because some park ranger reported "cars with big wings going very fast." And the cop came up to me and said "Look, I know your car can handle the high speeds, and you seem like a safe driver, but you never know who else is around."
STi has 20% tint all the way around (more than 45% is illegal in the fronts in Utah) and I haven't even had a cop second glance me, knock on wood. Ah Ford Focus look-alike station wagons... how I love thee.

Well I got pulled over in carol stream for a loud exhaust at 3:30 in the morning. Got my car searched, and sobriety test(I was sober). That was bull**** because I was going at 2.2K rpms and the cop flipped a b**ch and pulled me over. I think I got that ticked after he failed to find anything in my car. He said we get calls about people drag racing.....(bull sh*it), i do not find the police in Carol Stream to be good people. They take the #2 in DUI arrests thing way too far.
I seen him waiting for me around the block while I was getting gas too (btw; he came up behind me). What a dick. He had to think of some reason to pull me over - then had to think of another excuse once the front plate was THERE.

I got profiled for not having a front plate when I didn't have a front plate, then I got profiled for having a loud exhaust when I had a loud exhaust, I also got profiled for speeding when I was speeding.
^ I dont know how that was helpful, but I have been pulled over for loud "factory exhaust" while going the speed limit. he said I heard you go by. I was like really? Laser detector picked him up while i was doing 67 in a 65.
Had another woman cop get me for speeding when I was speeding, saying "sometimes 0-60 in 4 seconds isnt a good thing." I Laughed at that but did get a ticket.
