Chicago Theft FAILED on my EvoIX

just to let all the chicago guys know, a theif is Afoot in chicago northside, seems he has his own ECU with no immobiler he tried to hook up to my car Sadly he failed due to the fact i have two alarm systems, one in plain sight that controls locks and a start relay a simple alarm, the second alarm is wired in to the start relay and Fuel pump this alarm is VERY well HIDDEN. Props to Armando Alarms in chicago for hooking up this system for my car, it prevented a theft.
Sadly for me, the theif destroyed the plastic colum peice and my ignition switch so now ill have to get another and have the immobilzer reprogrammed.
I can tell he had his own ECU cause all my ecu wires were taken out of the ECU, unless he was actualy so stupid he thought the car would start without the ECU?

And today i also updated the alarm system, added in a few more deterants and relocated a extra battery and siren LOL have fun with that buddy.
At least the theif broke the small window in back and thats not to much to replace.

here is a pic of the damage of course i hooked the immobiler ring back up so i could start my car without Disabling it, new ignition is on its way. But im not going to reprogram the immobilizer im going to relocate this one so youll need two keys to start this car now, plus the alarms.

WOW...glad your evo was saved!!

More often than not we hear about how someone's evo was stolen and to keep an eye out for it.

So awesome to hear the oposite for a change! The damage is minimal compared to having the entire car gone and feeling violated.

Glad your Evo is SAFE!! Hide a some razor blades for the next thief. Bastards . . .

sure does suck, and i just finished my black interior too!
im trying to get a new ignition switch now, found one on ebay but ill still have to have it reprogrammed GARHH.... i might just relocat the ECU aswell so a theif cant find that either.
Had a bunch of nice **** in the car he didnt even take either so i definitly know he was after just the car itself...

Yes i was thinking about welding up some nastyness for the next theif, razors and some other hidden surpirzes thanks i think ill do that today

Few deterants are good, kill switch for battery main is great.
For alarms
U can use viper, avitol all are good
To use. If u want a theft deterant do what I did and have one in plain sight to run your locks and another well hidden that cuts
Fuel, spark, ecu or start. Up to you also revelco is awesome I'm getting one of them put in this weekend along with all this other stuff, better safe then sorry guys.

^ thanks for the suggestions man. since you mentioned ravelco, I'm leaning towards getting that instead of an alarm...
