Why?

Why is it so hard to find a Evo 9 around here at a dealership?! I can NEVER find them. They are always 250-400+ miles away from where I live. I am gonna try and trade my GT in on one when I can find one that I like, but damn. These things are stupid hard to find. I'm used to being able to just search and find the car I want in a minute lol. Of course, Mustang's are a hell of alot less rare but still. Anyone bought theirs at a dealership around here? I might have to go up to the Chicago area when I start looking even though I really don't want too.

It's hard because everyone that bought one in the last 1-2 years are keeping them. When summer rolls around, you might see them at dealerships but expect the price to be over $20k with the millage under 100k.

Mileage doesn't bother me really. I'll have to keep an eye out during the spring and summer for one.

I just drove down to orlando to pick mine up. There were a few here in the chicago area at some dealers but they were way overpriced. Theres one place that had 2 around 22k miles and they wanted I believe 30k for one and 32k for the MR. Both were red which I wasn't a fan of either.

Be willing to travel or ship on the car you pick. I'm from North Dakota and went to Houston to get mine.

Wow, they have the exact car that I want at Orland Toyota. A GG 9 MR. I really wish my car was paid off so I won't have to add onto payments if I seriously consider buying that car. That's exactly what I want.

Anyone know anything about that TTP sticker on the side? Is it a tuning company or what?

It is an Evo tuning company. There a member on these forums but I haven't seen them post anything new in a while.

well I had a x. Traded it for a 9. Its all about personal preference. To me the 4g63 has earned its stripes. The 8 and 9 are lighter cars as well. The x does have some luxury the 8 and 9 lack. Question tho? What are you planning on using the car for. If you plan on building it for big power I may be wrong but I've heard that 6 speed transmission isn't as reliable as the 5 speed.

Further with my last statement not to confuse the mr comes with 6 speed transmission as the gsr and rs do not.
