"At this time, it appears we WILL be able to use Route 66 for Sunday's event. We have a meeting Saturday Morning with the folks involved. Please watch for any change, posted here, Saturday evening. As most are aware, if we end up not being able to use Route 66, we will be going across the street to use the Chicagoland Speedway midway area, similar to last year. Remember, if after we post the final venue, you want to cancel your entry, you must notify the Registrar Saturday night or before the start of the event on Sunday in order to receive a refund. On the othed hand, plenty of spots left for TSSCC Event #1 on April 18th

 

Yo guys! if you liked the videos on my page... I just added two more in-car videos from that open seater lotus which are pretty fun to watch.

Also, it turns out that I will be at the TSSCC autox event on april 18th. long story...

In november, i bought the STi, right? Well... 6 days later i got a speeding ticket in Wilmette. 2nd ticket of the year so I was supposed to do an 8 hour traffic school, right? i signed up for on-line school but never got the information so I missed the date and now I have to go to court on 4/19... so i changed my airline ticket and now i'll be able to go to the event!.

 

that's awesome man, sucks that u have to go to court..but now u can make it to the autox is ben going to be there?

 

"Tomorrow's event will be at Chicagoland Speedway's midway area. In fact, we are going to use the exact same course as last year. Instead of entering at Route 66's Gate 12, continue on Schweitzer Road until you come to Gate 3 on the left. It's just a little way further down Schweitzer. This is not the big, sweeping course that we would hope to have at Route 66, but does bring us back to true autocross. We have used the same course as last year because it was safe, and most felt that it made very good use of the sapce available. I will concede this is not what we hoped for and if anyone wishes to cancel, feel free, (make sure you e-mail the Registrar at registration@scca-chicago.com ). I'm sure the waitlisted folks will appreciate it.
