I am looking for some help setting up some new forums and site for an all new midwest evo / midwest lancer club site seeing as the old one has been down for months now and shows no signs of comming back. If anyone has experiance with this it would be a big help. I am willing to shell out some cash for domain name and server space as well, but donations will be welcome.

 

Send me a pm with what all you are looking to do. At the very least I have server space and the ability to park another domain on it. I'm not much of a graphic designer but I know web sites pretty well

 

Also I registered the domain name midwestmitsubishi.com so I guess that will be the new site address if we ever get something up.

 

I am new at designing webpages but I am getting better. I might be able to help with the graphics and layout. Just tell me what look you are going for and I will throw together some ideas. By the way on the MLC forum I was known as Lancer_OZ_Rally. I will stick with my nickname from now on "Shado". That way there will be no more confusion. Have you checked out the old school Midwest Lancers forum at Mitsuclub Forums ? If not, you may want to before shelling out some cash for another server. Hit me back with some info!

I think we are going to put up a phpbb forum like I said I got a domain yesterday and I am working on server space now I am thinking we can do an all around mitsubishi forum and then break it down by model. I also am going to look into getting some of the local shops to get involved. I will keep everyone posted.

 

i guess you want to attempt setting somethin better than MLC. You attented the meets and everyting but then you dissapeared. i guess you don't want to be with us, rather yet you wantt create something of your own. good luck then! MLC will still be the biggest lancer / mitsubishi club in the midwest region

 

Luke, lay off man, this was when the MLc forums were still down.

 

Take it easy Luke, I didn't dissapear my wife and I had a baby and I got a new Job, and yeah this is when the forums were down, and I was not looking to compete with the MLC, I like the MLC, I just wanted to put something up that encompassed more cars and more models and would be more reliable. In my book there can never be to many forums to post in.
