Anyone local upgraded their turbo yet? Mine needs either rebuilt or replaced, and I can take that paper weight off your hands if you don't need it anymore

The rebuild would cost me $275, so if you can't beat that don't worry about it. Just remember, other EVO's are the ONLY market for your stock turbo and we can ALL get a rebuild for $275 from turbochargers.com

Keith, what happened to yours?? BTW Scan through Ebay, I saw a few listed about a week back..

 

At the DSM shootout my manual boost controler was right on that edge where it goes from 25 psi to "controler bottomed out" and I gave it that one last turn. I think I overspun the living siht out of the turbo because now the thrust bearing squeals like a damned soul whenever the turbo spools up.
