Just bought my GTS last Saturday. Its a fun little car compared to the old black B*tch I traded in for it. I miss the hp on tap and rwd but its all good. Anyways... time for the questions:

Where can I find projector lamps like the EVOs have? How much? And will there be problems with the harnesses?

Will the RalliArt dual catbacks fit if I have the RalliArt Rear bumper? (I know the size of the pipes compared to output i might lose some hp but in the long run I will end up turboing it)

This is my first new car with a warranty... What all upgrades can I go with without voiding the warranty? Im figuring a turbo is out of the question? XD

Ive been searching but with no luck... One thing I want is a voltmeter but I will have other gauges eventually... has anyone found triple gauge dash pod?

Does anyone know the limits of the CVT transmission and Stock 2.4?

And last that I can think of... I LOVE the LCD displays in the gauges but for all the stuff they have there they left off a digital speedo Is the anyway to add one?

 

hey whats up. i am currently starting my modding phase of my 08 GTS. mitsubishi has projector lamps for the GTS and it was actually an option that you could have got on the car i believe it is called the touring package. i believe that package was around 1000. as for mods it is kinda tricky because it is all about your dealer and what they say. mine said a cold air intake and a AXLE BACK exhaust is fine but a cat-back can void the warranty. so i am going to wait like 2 years before i get more then the axle back. but mainly bolt on stuff should be fine. the dealer has to prove that the aftermarket/modded part caused the problem. but if something happens when the bolt on parts are on you can always change them out for your stock ones and be fine. i used to have to deal with it on bikes. with mine and others because i worked at a bike shop. as for a place to get things i bought a few off roadracemotorsports.com they shipped it fast and i hear great reviews. I am in Iraq right now so they are sitting at the house waiting to get put on. i hope this helped out some.

But my list for now is simple just headers back with high flow cats and either Custom performance Engineering SS dual cutback or ultimate performance dual catback with a RalliArt rear bumper.
RRM short ram intake, RRM transmission cooler, 1" lowering springs or maybe some coilovers?, and a larger throttlebody with a tune.
Then add some 18" Tenzo R Sport Type M Machined on 245/45 18s.

This is such an odd list for me considering my poor old baby was a Mustang and I'm use to late model "muscle." XD but I like it. And love the car... Except for the pink taillights
