BR (Buschur Racing) 2.3 stroker Crower rods, JE tough skirt coated forged pistons, ARP fasteners, Fluidamper. Short block had 5,000 miles on it when freshened up (polished crank, new front cover & oil pump assembly w/ bs elim kit, HP rings, bearings. Shortblock was freshened up less then 2,000 miles ago. Have receipts for recent rebuild.

Why was it rebuilt with only 5k miles?

 

The last owner had a Unorthodox Crank pulley on the car at the time of purchase. It is believed that this led to the early bearing failure. The engine was disassembled, new bearings installed, and inspected to ensure proper operation. This is why it comes with a Fluidampr

 

Pics were posted in the thread. I am sorry my mechanic MitsuJoe did not take compression #'s before the tear down. I actually have the head that was built with this motor and a stock head available. Let me know if you want more details. Thanks!
