How to connect an automatic lights module in to a 2008 GTS Lancer

Hello does any one know or have installed the module for automatic lights?? I just got one for my 2008 GTS but my installer does not know how to install this, he says that he has never done it before and he is afraid to damage the car computer or something like that...

I would appreciate any help!!!

Thx

Hey, can you point me to where have you got the actuall light sensor assembly from?

By the way, did you get this combination switch assembly in order to properly use the "AUTO" light function?

Well I did not get that piece all I got was this from amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Directed-Elect...4995983&sr=8-1

I guess that if you want to use the auto system you just have to leave the lights on and the system will take care of the rest....

Thanks. This looks like the aftermarket light sensor system - should work in any case.

Where to hook it up? - You'll have to chase the car manual. I don't know if there is one available on this forum for EVO X or European spec cars, but there is one available through 9Glancers.com.

I'm planning to acquire and install OEM factory night-day sensor, that's why I have gotten the combination switch from Japan, plus I'm installing the rear foglight so I do want to have everything look stock.

Good luck.

See pics...
Sportback (mine) - middle of the rear bumper cover
Sedan - left combination tail light assembly, fog light replaces reverse light in it.
